How did you do on your baby book?

MommyToAshley wrote: I just went and looked at Ashley's and she only had a couple of blanks. Luckily I had posted the milestones on here and I could look up the dates. smile.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I am proud to say I did very well. I still keep it up, actually. I write down things she says and does. She had 3 so it pretty much covered everything! biggrin.gif I hope I do just as well with this baby. The only thing I didn't write down was her weight, etc. I just kept all the slips that the nurse gave me and put them in there. I kept all the letters I wrote before she was born and after. I think it will mean a lot to her someday.

DansMom replied: So far I've been keeping good track of the milestones. I was the second child and throughout my childhood I felt second best, because my older sister's baby book was more complete and there were a lot more photos of her as a newborn. DH had the same experience. I now realize why that happened of course---I can imagine how little time I would have to write things down if I had more than one to keep track of. But still I want Daniel to see that his book is all filled in from cover to cover.

chloe&tysmommy replied: I kept track of everything, her baby book is filled with lots of info and lots of pictures! I like doing that sort of thing and when she gets older she can look back and read everything.

I also kept a month by month journal (b/c the baby book wasn't large enough lol) and wrote down everything she has done...its nice to look back and read it all wub.gif

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Okay I think her baby book has become a baby box. I have saved all sorts of stuff including the candle that was on top of her b-day cake. I have kept it pretty up to date.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: My first 2 there baby books are kept up very well! I feel sorry for Claudia because after the first few months I haven't written anything!

CantWait replied: shame of me...... I just haven't had the time to do a lot on Anthony's baby book. I try and write milestones on a scrap piece of paper so that I at least know the date when it comes time to pull it out. Also I didn't get a newspaper the day he was born so there's a lot of empty pages on news highlights and front page stuff and all that jazz. Robbie's is definetly full.

coasterqueen replied: I'm a month behind, but I have them all written down somewhere. I think I kept her website up better than her baby book. I also have a keepsake box full of stuff, lol.

amynicole21 replied: I did much better in the beginning, but I've been slacking. I even had to guess on dates she did things because I couldn't remember (shhhh, don't tell her!) blush.gif I started a album for her, but only got through labor and delivery and put that project away. I wish I had a day to myself to finish up all of the projects I started!! rolleyes.gif

Heather replied: I am HUGE slacker!! I am so behind...like a year behind! sad.gif I don't think I will ever catch up, I was hoping to scrapbook, don't think I will make it to that!! SIGH..sad.gif

DansMom replied:
laugh.gif A day? You must be very efficient. I would need two weeks of uninterrupted time to get up to date on the photo albums. rolling_smile.gif

ediep replied: I finished Jasons first year scrapbook. It starts when I found out I was pregnant to his first birthday!! I love making scrapbooks!! I am starting another one.

Jamison'smama replied: Those of you who are scrapbookers--I would love to see pics of your completed pages--that might inspire me to work on Jamison's. I also just love to see how people scrapbook.
