How do you respond?

luvmykids wrote: Just curious.

booey2 replied: It all depends on the time I have. I usually try and read the posts if not I skim them before posting.

moxee24 replied: I post based on my feelings and thoughts of the topics and then I read the other posts... if I don't have time to post something I will skim through the topic and mark it as something I would like to post in and come back later and post

C&K*s Mommie replied: I read the other posts, as time permits. Then I post. Sometimes someone will post, and thier comments will make you see things in a different light.
I also will come back later, if I am not sure on how to respond, and read the other posts then respond. Sometimes I just give a smile.gif or a hug.gif because that is what may be needed. I go with my own feelings no matter what when I respond.

CAMSMOM1 replied: On most topics, like a serious topic, I always read the replies first before posting, it helps me understand the topic more, and I don't want to repeat anything that was already said. KWIM? And usually the person who started the thread, always adds something to it later on, so I want to read that as well.

If someone writes about "getting a new car" or something like that, I don't feel the need to read all the replies. Because I can already guess what they are going to say.

But for the most part, on most posts, I read the entire message and replies. thumb.gif

CAMSMOM1 replied:

dito.gif dito.gif dito.gif I couldn't have said it better than that! I think you should read all the replies because it does hellp you see things in a better perspective. And I also go with my own feelings on the topic, even if I don't agree with what others had said.

And usally, the original message, always takes different turns while others respond... the person changes their mind, or asks more questions....

fashionmumofboys replied: If I have the time then I will read all the posts or skim through them, if not I just reply as to what I think is appropriate.

CosmetologyMommy replied: I usually read posts first so I don't type the same thing as others

luvmykids replied:
Me too, I'm always curious to see other opinions and I also want to make sure I don't want to miss what might have gone on between the original post and my reply in case something has changed or been clarified.

A&A'smommy replied: I didn't vote because it depends on what the topic is and how much time I have!

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied:
Ditto!

mom21kid2dogs replied: It depends on both my time & the topic. I still live in the land of dial up and always have limited, usually interrupted time sad.gif so I post accordingly. Lots of times I read but don't post but do pray! wink.gif

Mom2Boyz replied:
Same here. We have dial up right now too, so I don't post near as much as I would if I had a faster connection. I read almost all of the posts, but it would take wayyyy too long to reply to all of them.

ions_momma replied: It depends on how much time I have to be on here. If I dont have much time, I will reply without reading other peoples posts or I will just skim through them quickly. I always try to come back and read everyone elses posts when I have time though.

ammommy replied:
Ditto here, too.

holley79 replied: 90 % of the time I post my reply then go back and read what others have said. It just all depends on what is going on.

MamaJAM replied: I almost always reply right after reading the OP. Sometimes I need to go back and edit -- because it's after I reply that I find updates from the OP.

3xsthefun replied: It just depends on how much time I have. I usually try to read the other post first and then reply.

jcc64 replied: Usually like to read the other responses first, in case someone beat me to the punch. No need to duplicate, unless I have something to expand upon.

CantWait replied: It all depends on the topic and what I'm thinking at that moment. Sometimes it's one or the other. dunno.gif
