How far along when you delivered?

skinkybaby replied: I went a week and a half past my due date. And she still didn't want to come out so they had to go in after her

luvmykids replied: The twins were at 36 weeks, which is great for multiples. Macie was either one week late or exactly on her due date, they kept changing it on me.

I am seriously 5 seconds from hyperventilating here! We are not ready, the house and his room are know where near ready, what if I'm a bad mom, or I do something really wrong? What if I have no idea what I'm doing all together?

ETA, Am I a really horrible person for thinking this stuff?

Anthony was born right on his due date, well a day after.

You'll be fine. It's amazing how almost natural except for breastfeeding comes.
You won't even think of anything besides how much you love your bundle of joy the first time you hold them.

your going to be fine honey its normal to be scared but when your holding your little one in your arms all your going to be thinking is "how is it possible to love someone this much" seriously I would hold her all day think man this love is amazing.. and it still is even more so!!

It is WAY normal to feel not ready and scared. Thats how I was, and I still worry if I am a good mom or not!

I jsut saw myself in the mirror when I read this. I was the same way when I was pregnant. You will be a great mother. Your baby is going to be in your room for the first part so there is plenty of time to get his room together. If all else fails you can always put together a crib in your room. Don't sweat it.

Now to answer your question, I was induced 1 week prior to my due date for high blood pressure. I was SO not ready, I thought.

PrairieMom replied: No matter how "ready" you are, when the time comes you will never be "ready" I was 37 with The Boy after 2 weeks of Terbutaline to stop preterm labor, and I was 38 weeks with Ally after about 20 weeks of Terbutaline.

Kaitlin'smom replied: according to there calcuations went into labor at 37 weeks and had her 37 weeks 1 day.

Ashton came around 34 1/2 weeks.

But my sister went 3 weeks and 4 weeks past with her two boys!

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Andrew was born at 41 weeks and one day. I know how you feel ~ I was scared I wouldn't know what to do and I'd be a horrible mom. Even after he was born there were a few times (like with my breastfeeding struggles) that I wondered if I'd ever figure it out, but it was all fine.

I also firmly believe that if you are still nervous you will have a little while longer to get ready for him to get here Everyone I have ever known has not had the baby until they are saying will somebody please make me un-pregnant already! Yu are already a good mommy-you have kept him safe and fed for almost 9 months already-like I told you once now they just get a little louder when they want you-but they can't always kick you to get your attention anymore Enjoy these last few weeks I know it sounds hard to believe but you will miss it

I was 39 weeks and 3 days when my water broke with Jade.

I would have had Jordan at 39 weeks because of my BP, but had to be induced at 38 weeks 3 days with her because her HR was going down with contractions. Turns out she had a knot in her cord.

You will be ready when the time comes. All of that panic will melt away the first time you look into your little ones eyes.

And my twins were delivered at 36 weeks, after my ex announced that he is in love with other woman.I think I would carry them full term if I would not be stressed. I understand your anxiety. Just take a good care of yourself, relax as much as you can and don't let anybody to upset you. Enjoy your life!!!!

Hit the target of delivering on my due date with Kellie.

Had several due dates with each child, but the final dd was what I went by.
