How many siblings do you have? - (brothers/sister...stepbro/stepsisters)

I have one brother & one sister. I'm VERY close to my sister. She's 8 years older than I am, but we are so much alike. We look, talk, act identical! We talk a million times a day on the phone, and see each other a few times a week. My brother, on the other hand, I'm not so close to. I guess maybe it's because he's a guy. But now that he just had his 1st child, we have more in common, and see each other more often.

I have 6 step-brothers, and 1 step-sister. My Mom married my best friend's Dad when I was in high school. And he had a lot of kids. And my Dad married my P.E. coach, and she had 2 boys. So I have a lot of step-siblings.

Are you close to any of them? yes, we are close 2 of them live in the same town as I do.

3xsthefun replied: I only have one brother he is 4 years younger then me. Yeah, we are pretty close, we only live 5 minutes from each other.

Edward's Mommy replied: I have a brother whose 3 years younger than me. We've been really close since we were little kids! We're not as close right now, but I think a lot of it has to do with him being 19. Eventually, he'll come around!

We look so much alike that people think we're twins! And when we tell them we're not twins, they think he's older! But he's a wonderful person and I couldn't imagine my life without him!

I have 1 brother who is 19 and a half brother who is 14

and I also have a step sister who is 3 years older then me. I am quite close to all of my siblings but especially close to my older sister.

MamaJAM replied: I have one older brother (he's almost 3 years older). We get along ok - we were really close when I was in high school and he was in college...but had a major falling out -- things are better now, but I wouldn't say we're really 'close'.

I also have a "German brother" as I refer to him as -- we're not really related in any way/shape/form - but he was an exchange student living with us for a year in high school and we've all kept in touch. He's the same age as my brother.

My oldest sister is my dads from a previous marriage. My Older sister and brother are my moms from a previous marriage. When my mom and dad got married they planned me, then my brother and my sister was a suprise. So there are 6 of us.

amynicole21 replied: One "real" sister, one step-sister and 5 living step-brothers (one passed away). My dad remarried when I was 20 or so, so the step-siblings and I aren't very close.

JP&KJMOM replied: One brother for me. He is 5 yrs older age wise but I have always been more like a big sister to him. We are not very close anymore and it makes me sad but it is his choice.

Between the 7 of us we range in age from 6 (being my youngest adopted brother) to 30 (my brother)

However, 2 brothers and 1 sister have passed away, so I only have my Brother and sister left. But that's ok. It's just nice to have them.

danahas4monkeys replied: I have 6, 3 brothers 3 sisters not all biological but that has never made a difference I guess I'll have more if my dad actually marries the lady (and I use that word very loooosely) he is involved with , those I wont be close with cause I never intend to meet them, but I am very close to all my other siblings!

kit_kats_mom replied: none. I'm an only. I had a step brother for about 3 years during one of my mom's marriages. he was 1 year younger than me and we fought like cats and dogs. Made me really glad that I never had a sibling.

blue72 replied: 3 brother an 1 sister. I am close to them all but would be lost without my sister. We all live close together (within an hour). I have 7 nieces and nephews on my side of the family. Family is wonderful!

half bro who has a sis from the other side.. so i guess she is a step sis?
she has a little half bro too but i i never met him.
another half sis who has 2 sisters from the other side.
then a step sis from my mom's bf who is the same age as my son
and a step bro from my dad's gf.

i am not close with any of them.

I used to really want a sibling when I was little, but as I got older, I really liked being the one.
