How many teeth do they actually lose?

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one, then. I don't know why I didn't ask her dentist last week when they were getting cleanings. I guess I didn't realize I'd get asked that question myself.

mom21kid2dogs replied: We have 20 primary teeth (googled it out of curiosity ). She gets to loose 14 more! She's a little smarty pants!

mom21kid2dogs replied: I didn't realize that the molars they get now are permanent teeth. No wonder my dentist insists on sealing them! It was an interesting question!

Oh yeah. I remember as soon as Kylie's 6 year molars popped in they wanted to do sealants right away and they said because they were permanent ones. She's due for them again as those things don't stay on there forever.

My2Beauties replied: Wow they lose 20 Hanna hasn't lost one yet. I don't think she has any loose ones either.

did she get her teeth late? A little girl that was in Alyssa's class lost two of her teeth when she was 4 1/2 she was like 4months old when she got her teeth. She called a pediatric dentist and asked if it was too early she was worried and he said if she got her teeth early then it was normal to loose teeth early. So if Hanna got her teeth a little later then she probably will loose them a little later
