How much do you do IT? - the nasty

We have a routine, Sam wakes, eats and then changed. And ditto all day long. He poops just about the same time daily(except last week one day when I got worried). How do you guys do it??

Katherine gets changed when she wakes up from naps or sleep, after she eats and after her bath. If she is awake for a long time after her bath, I'll change her before bed.

Well not that I do it now, but I was the same way, usually after a sleepy time and before a sleepy time and a little while after meals.

Same here... first thing in the morning, after meals, before and after sleep, right before bed.

supermom replied: That was basically our routine too - but now that he's older, we are trying desperately to potty train, I just wish he showed more interest! He is FINALLY telling me he's poopy!! -hehehehehe-

she is changes when she gets up in the morning, then once more in am (unless she gives us a suprise) then once in afternoon, then when I get her home i check her, and change if nessary, then usually 2 more times before bed. But it can very just depends if its her poop days or not.

Mommieto2Girls replied: I change her before breakfast, before lunch, before dinner and before bed. There are always the extra poo diapers inbetween (which right now are alot) and before I go anywhere I always check her and if she needs to be changed I change her. We go through alot of diapers in a day. I can't help it I am a nut about seeing my baby in a wet diaper. lol

We change Zack when he wakes up, before we go out somewhere, before he eats, and before bed. There are also some times in between.

Jade gets changed right when she gets up in the morning, after she gets up from her nap and right before bed after her bath. Those are probably the ones that happen routinely. The other times depend on her. She has been known to poop up to three times in one day. She also drinks a lot during the day so if her diapers get too soggy and I change her then to. I would guess that I change her up to 8 times a day.

Kylie gets changed as soon as she wakes up around 6 am, then again at 7:30 am right before leaving for the sitter and work. At 7:30 that is when she usually does the nasty, like clockwork every morning on our way out the door.

She gets changed every two hours after that at the sitter and we change her at least every three hours at night and lately she has been a peeing machine and we've had to change her in the middle of the night almost every night.


It seems like around 11 months she just started pee'ing like a mad woman.

Zach has a poopy diaper every morning before going to day care. DH used to pawn it off on the sitter, telling her he did it in the car... until I told him to wait an extra 10 minutes before dropping him off - it's like he's too lazy to change a poopy diaper! Arg.

Then when I get home from work - I don't change his diaper until he smells like pee, because I'm so busy tryingt o scramble about dinner etc...for him, before he gets angry with me and starts a tantrum because he's so hungry! After dinner I just take him right up for a bath....then he poops usually around 7 ish. On weekends (not at sitters) he poops once (or twice) in the afternoon.
