The most I have ever spent was 22 dollars for an outfit for Mckaylee. And for Russell never more then 16 bucks, but I don't even recall anything that much for him. My sister usually buys the whole Carter line of clothes and sends them to Russell after Peyton grows out of them. Same with Mckaylee's clothes....they get passed down from my niece.....

I don't think I'm too bad, actually. All the kids have boots that were about $60/each but they're like tennies are for other kids, they wear them a lot and they're the only shoes Colt will wear, period. So I do get my money's worth.

The girls have had some pretty pricey dresses, the most is probably about $65.

Mine have good clothes but I am a bargin and sale shopper. I have spent to much on outfits for special occasions and my kids only wear Nike tennis shoes and they can be expensive if I can't find them on sale but they fit my kids better than any other and last longer.

AlexsPajamaMama replied: I do not spend alot of money on clothes for Alex. He wears walmart or payless shoes. He does have alot of oldnavy and other name brand clothes but I mostly buy them on sale. I dont think I have ever paid more than $20 on a single item.
This past winter he had a $60 winter coat that my mom found at the Childrens Place outlet store for $15 the fall before last. And his winter boots were LL Bean, but from the employee store.

KingMom replied: Not sure exactly, but it was too much. I remember it was the outfit we bought to bring Colin home from the hospital in. It was from the Mall...Janie & Jack. Bad thing was that it was WAY to big for him anyway. I think it was probably over $50.00!

Kaitlin'smom replied: on a single item...hummm maybe $25 for a dress, I usually buy on sale or clearance. her easter basket with a liner with her name on it was $50 from Pottery Barn, but she will use it everyyear so it eventually will pay for itself. Used for 4 years now, makes it get cheeper each year

I keep thinking I did buy something more than 25 but I cant remember, if I do I will let you know.

Ashley's winter coat was $130.00. Her new bikini swimsuit just came today, it was $50.00. She got a cocktail dress for $80.00. Her shoes were $70.00.

For everyday type things.... shirts, pants, ect. Probably about $20.00 for t-shirts, $30.00 - $40.00 for sweatshirts, and approx $30.00 - $50.00 for jeans. That's for like new stuff..... I also get great deals when I shop around at thrift stores.

Tyler's coat was about the same as Ashley's. Same with the shoes.

BUT we had gift cards that we were given to buy them with that covered $50 of each kids suit. SO not too bad. Other than that i sont' really keep track . I just buy it if i liek it and it's not crazy priced and on a good deal. I usually only shop for them when i knwo i can spend a coupel hundred $$ and not be short elsewhere.

Last Christmas I spent $78.00 on a pair of jeans with holes and rips in them, for John. Even worse, my best friend bought him another pair at the same price. I have no idea what came over me.

I have never spent more than $15 for a pair of shoes and $10 for a seperate item, unless it's for pictures or a holiday. For an outfit...maybe $15 AT MOST, but they are usually $12 or less. I'm a good bargain shopper honey when it comes to clothes!

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I can't really think of a single item...but I bought a little argyle sweater vest and matching shorts for Wil at Gymboree for MIL's wedding last summer for about $60. That was two things. Didn't include the polo to go underneath though! And little Adidas shoes, but at least I got two pairs for $50.

My MIL is the one that goes to boutique baby stores and spends $40 or more on one piece of clothing for Wil. I would never do that!

Emilie I spent about 250$ - but again, it was a little mini wedding dress type of dress - she wore it at her baptism, and at y mwedding.

Other than that, I usually try to bargain shop - and I guess the most expensive thing I've bought was about 40$ for a dress/bloomer outfit for the girls

For Madison, her Striderite shoes (size 3XXW ) were around $40. Other than that, their Christmas dresses last year were around $20, that's probably the most.



For me it's not a lot either - like I said, I'm cheap. Excluding my wedding dress ($150.00 on sale) the most expensive item I've bought for myself since high school (when I had a ton of $$ from working and bought myself clothes all the time) is a $40.00 skirt because it made me look thin .

Nina J replied: Probably about $60 for Emily, it just depends. Usually I don't buy things over $30 for her, with the exception of some things that are to nice to not get. The most is probably $60, except for some shoes and coats.

I brought Odessa a really nice outfit for $70, which is the most I've spent on her.

Typically, I bargin shop (buy off season), go to yard sales and second hand shops for all our clothes.
