How often do you bathe your kids?

Summer time is differant it all depends on how dirty and sweaty he has gotten during the day!

sparkys2boys replied: This time of year, every second night unless they are sweaty or dirty too. IN the summer.. EVERY night..lol.. they get soo dirty and we are in the pool all the time and need to wash off any chemicals.

Unless they get really dirty, then they get one regardless.

In the summer they pretty much get one every day, or at least a scrub down with a washcloth.

Brias3 replied: My kids have super dry skin too, especially Aliyah, so we do every other night. In the summer though, they get a bath or shower each night, sometimes more than once a day if they're in and out of the pool and we're going somewhere, etc.

My3LilMonkeys replied: Every 3-4 days unless they get dirty - Madison's got the sensitive, dry skin and can't take it more often than that....and there's no way I could get her to stay out of the tub while Brooke was in it.

Same here. In the summer it's more frequent because they are sweating and icky from the hot weather (and boys get stinky ), but both boys have pretty bad ezcema and it would flare up big time if they had bathes every day. Even I most of the time only take a shower every other day because I have very sensitive skin as well and my hair gets dried out easily.

That made me LOL.....when Colt was a baby he was SO FAT that all the little milk dribbles would collect in the rolls in his neck and boy did he STINK. I had to use a turkey baster to get the water in the rolls to get the milk out

A&A'smommy replied: Every other day, unless she is dirty or sweaty... Alyssa had exzema and now if I bathe her everyday her skin gets really dry. I get a little frustrated when she stays with my mil cause they will get a bath twice a day over there but only because the girls take a bath together and they PLAY so its like going swimming over there

My kids are about the same although Evan gets alot more then Izabella does. We heat only with wood and our air is dry it seems.

We're the same, since you know where I live, but I actually go like two days, sometimes even three!! We have humidifiers in all the bedrooms and they still look like little alligators! And besides, with it being winter, we are indoors so often, that they really don't get that dirty IMO. Now that Wil is in school twice a week though, I always bathe him after that.

bawoodsmall replied: Great...I am the freak that gives them baths every night. I thought it was sick if I didnt. Now I wont feel bad if I want to skip every now and then. Our skin doesnt get overly dry here. It must be cuz we have a built in humidifier in our house????

holley79 replied: Annika is an every day bathing kind of kid. She would take on every hour if I let her. She won't sleep if she hasn't had hers.
