How often do you talk to your extended family?

I talk to my sister about 4 times a week, I talk to my mom about 2 times a week sometimes less.

DH talks to his family once a month or so. They rarely call but when they do I don't pick up unless DH is right there. Some members of his family have a habit of twisting my words and try to play the victim..cuz ya know.. I'm SO mean.

luvmykids replied: FIL and his wife, and my parents, talk to all of them at least once a day . MIL and her DH, it depends...she likes to call and wait about five minutes before calling DH and complaining that she can't get ahold of me, she was worried so I try to call her once a week. Talk to mine and DH's gma about once a week. My dad and stepmom, about once a year.

My3LilMonkeys replied: MIL/FIL, daily. Both SILs at least 3-4 times a week. DH's aunts, uncles, cousins etc - most never, a few we see 5-6 times a year.

My mom & dad, 2-3 times a week. My older sister, 3-4 times a week. My younger sister, only on holidays or if she happens to be home when I stop at my mom's. My grandma, aunts, uncles, cousins etc are not local so we see them once a year at best.

My Mom - at least 5X a day , My Gram at least once a day, my brother - maybe once every couple of weeks - the rest of the family on my side - rarely - thankfully

Twelve Volt Man replied: I talk to my sister every couple weeks, or so. I talk to my brother (whom I'm actually closer to) every couple months. I talk to my mom and dad about once a month. I'm just not much of a talker. When my son is older, I'm sure I'll be talking to mom and dad much more often. My wife's parents call every darn day, which drives me nuts.
