How old was your child when they... - first slept through the night

MommyToAshley replied: My daughter did not sleep through the entire night until I night weaned her (she was BF) around 10 months. She did sleep for 6 hours straight before this time, but I don't really consider that sleeping through the night. HTH
kit_kats_mom replied: Um, hasn't happened with any regularity yet. She's 26 mos old.
I actually crave shots for her when she goes to the ped because that's the only time I can count on a full 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Am I bad? LOL

I think they were pretty early though and really every kid is different. I don't really think there is a normal time.

mama3x replied: DS slept through the night for the most part at 3 months old but when he got sick at 4 months I don't think he slept through again until about 8 months or so. He consistently slept through every single night by 18 months.
DD's a preemie so she's probably a different case but I think she started to sleep through once in awhile closer to 10-12 months. She's pretty good now although at times she'll get up about an hour or so after she's put to bed.

ediep replied: Jason slept through the night at about 3-4 months. That was about 10pm - 5 am. It wasn't until he was about 8 months that he slept from 8pm - 6am

Matt was 2-3 months ( i can't remember which one) he is awesome
Mommybear replied: Hello. Like you said every child is different. My daughter was about 8 months when she started to sleep through the night and my son was about 6 months.

A&A'smommy replied: Well Alyssa slept through the night for the first month of her life until she got her shots and then two weeks later she would sleep through the night and then when she got her shots again she wouldn't sleep through the night for two weeks and now she worse than she was she wakes up once every night sometimes for a bottle and sometimes JUST to get in bed with us and its usually around 3 or 4am....

Nicky slept from the day he came home from the hospital!
Andriana never slept. She was a little terror I swear it! She had colic really bad.
C and C are still not sleeping through the night at 8mo!
ctymom replied: My little one still wakes up once!! Well, she whines, stands up... then I lay her back down and she goes right back to sleep. It's not every night... but pretty darn close. It's only been a couple of months that she sleeps through the night. My youngest was bad with that but my other boys slept through right away.

misha8 replied: Kaelyn started sleeping through the night at 2 months old. At first I thought it was a trick, but it started happening every night. So far she still sleeps through the night but she is just going on 4 months old. I hear that things can change sometimes.

mummy2girls replied: Jenna was 3 months when she started to sleep 7 hours at a time. but never actually started to sleep through the night till she was close to 12 months. she is now 2 and sleeps 12 hours staright...
LovingmyBoriqua replied: My oldest son semi slept through the night when he was baby he woke up at 600am for his bottle slept til 900am up at 10:00-2:00pm taken a nap at 600pm than was at bed at 8:00pm he would wake up for his bottle at 12:00am & 500am...
He did that from NB to 9mths than he would wake up once a night for his milk which is usually from 12-500am.. Now hes 2 1/2 he doesnt wake up at all in the middle of the night...
Zachary he will wake up from 12-600am which could be 2, 4, 600am.. sometimes he will sleep through the night if im lucky... zach is 11mths now
