How on earth?!?
MyBrownEyedBoy wrote: How on earth do you manage to dilate to a 9 and not know you're pregnant? We just had one come into the ER, no prenatal care, practically ready to deliver, swearing she had no idea.

we see it ALL THE TIME.
ZandersMama replied: My first I had no real labor pains until I was at 8........mom made me and dh go to the hospital long before that because I didnt look good. I was 3 centimeters when I got there and walked to 8 .
ETA-- I had braxton hicks contractions from 7 months, so the pains that I did have, I chalked up to that.
HuskerMom replied: She had no idea she was pregnant? That's crazy Didn't she feel the baby moving, besides that there's so many things physically that change when you're pregnant, she had to have known!
luvmykids replied: I have a friend who has a sister that actually tried that one, tried to act like she had no idea and was just as "shocked" to find out she was pg as everyone else. Then when explaining herself to her mom, she said it must have happened because her and her boyfriend shared a bar of soap and he must have gotten sperm on it in the shower
MomToJade&Jordan replied: I never could figure out how someone just didn't know. What exactly did they think was rolling around in there?
CantWait replied: What some people will come up with
Cece00 replied: I've always wondered about that, too. There is NO WAY to not know you are pregnant with a baby moving around like crazy, all the pregnancy symptoms and then to be in LABOR. Come on...
ZandersMama replied: I thought you meant she didnt know she was in LABOR! I went to school with a girl who tried that, and she was hugely obviously pregnant. She told everyone she thought it was her gallblatter. I said uhh, gallblatterss dont kick...........
sparkys2boys replied: omg.. are you kiding me..lol??? That is the most pathetic thing I have ever heard.. geesh.. she must of been young right?
amynicole21 replied: Denial, denial, denial.
boyohboyohboy replied: i worked with a NURSE who was in denial the entire time she was pregnant, and she never went for prenatal care, and then went to the er to deliver...its amazing what some people do.
I have never believed you can go 9 months and not know you are pregnant.
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Well this girl in my small town has had 3 kids and each time says that she had no idea she was pg. Whatever!!
