sparkys2boys replied: Hmm, that is weird. I dunno.. what did they say to you?
grapfruit replied: Go to www.whitepages.com and click "reverse lookup". Then put in your address....(which they may have) and see what it pops up with.
sparkys2boys replied: Oh that sucks..lol. I didn't know that could be done. But I am sure here in Canada you can't find numbers like that so easily.. I think
grapfruit replied: Try this: White Pages-Canada
mckayleesmom replied: I tried it and it doesn't come up there.
grapfruit replied: Your number doesn't pop up?
I was also thinking, sometimes some of those companies have a little stronger search engines that can pull up more numbers. Maybe they have one of those in house.
mckayleesmom replied: Nope and it also comes up listed as a cell phone.
kit_kats_mom replied: It was probably someone using a cross index source. You can find them at the library. They list names and addresses by phone numbers, phone numbers by addresses etc. We used them a lot in skip tracing bad debts. If the phone was disconnected, we'd call the neighbors on either side and accross the street to find out info about the debtor like if they moved.
booey2 replied: Yup, sorry it is done here all the time in Canada,
Phone number look ups . Once you are there you can reverse look up by name or address.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: It was probably a collections agency. They can get info us regular folks can't.
kit_kats_mom replied: ah, you can get it too...you just need to know where to look
holley79 replied: Reverse search on the address?
lisar replied: Thats what I was thinking. LOL
redchief replied: If I paid a little bit of money, I could get all of your credit information, phone numbers and tax status... all with an address.
