Hows this for grandparents? - so protecting, so caring....

It is in a very large cage and Sammy can stick his fingers in. I NEVER LEAVE HIM ALONE IN THAT ROOM. Guess I left him alone tonight. huh! The bird got his middle finger. I took him and was scared to death to look, just applied a tight towel and hoped to stop the bleeding. He stopped crying as soon as I had him. The cutt is not bad, but the da*n bird could have taken his finger off, or perhaps his whole little hand. I took him downstairs and never said another word, DH wont say anything until tomm, he is very very upset(he was at work). They can not even be trusted for TWO minutes! Thank GOD I never leave him alone with them. Now he wont be allowed to be around them unless I am in the room, how sad is that?

CantWait replied: Gosh, your inlaws sound really irresponsible, like they just don't care. So sorry that the bird got Sammy, I'm glad he's still got his finger (didn't know how to word that at the moment sorry), hope it feels better

amynicole21 replied: Yikes! I would be furious! My father left a tray full of loose vitamins low enough for Sophia to reach, so I know how irresponsible they can be. Grrrrr I'm glad Sammy wasn't hurt too badly.

On 4th of July, I was with Jaci at my inlaws, and mil told me she would watch Jaci so that I could go in the kitchen and get a burger. All of a sudden, I notice mil in the kitchen with me. So who's watching Jaci- no one of course! And she was under a table, trying to chew on old wires. I'm glad I noticed in time. I can relate!

MomofTay&Sam replied: So maybe I hold a grudge? I left early this morning and was out all afternoon, came home and came down stairs. They havent even seen him today. Do you think they will get the hint? I mean this is not a *common* toddler boo boo. This is human error!
