I am LIVID - My cell phone bill


My2Beauties wrote: OMG I called the cell phone company to pay my phone bill over the phone just now, it was about 2 days overdue blush.gif well my bill that I paid today was $61 which is totally normal, however my bill has already been cut for this coming month and it's due the 24th, well it will be cut tomorrow the guy said and it's over $300 ohmy.gif mad.gif mad.gif I asked the guy how on God's green earth my phone bill is so high, he said I went over my minutes by 862 minutes - um excuse me, I have 3000 whenever minutes a month, I have never and I repeat NEVER went over my minutes! There is no way I talked on the phone for almost 4000 minutes blink.gif at least I hope not, because I sort of chewed this guy out. He said I should be receiving my bill any day now, it was mailed yesterday, my bills are itemized so I am going over each and every phone #! There is just no way and if I did boy was I blahblah.gif The only thing that scares me is this is the entire month that Brian was gone that I am being billed for and I was very lonely - so I very well could have called a lot of people and talked on the phone for long periods of time - but still almost 4000 minutes worth unsure.gif Please let me be right because we don't have over $300 to send the cell phone company wacko.gif

No I didn't forget, I can IM you - tee hee! I just didn't talk on the phone that much - I know I didn't! That is just absolutely ridiculous! Oh yeah but I have been meaning to call you anyways to catch up!

CCTandME replied: Funny! We just got our cell bill and same thing. It was insanely high. We've been overbilled before by Cingular. They will credit us. Good luck! Hope it was a total misunderstanding.

Or is it normal? We've never gone over our minutes so I gues I don't really know...but it sounds like a lot to me!

CantWait replied: I hope it's a misunderstanding and it gets straigtened out soon. If it's not I don't see why they wouldn't call you as too whether or not it could have been something wrong....You'd think they would notice a pattern in your calling.

That is what I said, I'm like if you guys notice that I barely even use 1000 minutes each month, why would you not notify me that my cell phone had been used for slmost 4000 minutes. I think it's courtesy as a cell phone company to notify someone when they're close on their minutes anyways! dry.gif
