This (grasshopper) was in the frame of my door yesterday- dead but still.... call me a wuss but I cannot stand bugs.

If that grasshopper had made it into the car after all, there would have been countless accidents. I know they cannot do anything to me, but they are still.... (((shivers))) bugs.
There were a couple super-sized flies over the course of a week that flew into our house, recently. I thought the things were going to break the windows! They were that BIG!
Sometimes I can be such a girly-girl....
coasterqueen replied: Ok, I so should have waited to open this AFTER I ate. I hate bugs too!
salmndr007 replied: When we were driving back from Fla yesterday it was like someone was throwing water balloons at the car. Those bugs are HUGE! I thought the ones in Louisiana were big but seriously now!
EvesMom replied: Whoa! That's a Bigin'! I don't mind bugs, excepts the 8 legged variety. EEECk!
moped replied: Oh I hate bugs and I will be there in 2 weeks - nooooooooooooooooooooo
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Eeewwwwwww!!!! I hate bugs - I have never seen a grasshopper that big. So gross.
luvbug00 replied: ewww!!!! you know brad has stopped our car in the middle of the street and jumpped out because there was a daddy long leg inside
Kaitlin'smom replied: oh man I wish I had not seen that. I HATE bugs and when we had the Secadia's here a couple years ago eeewww.
mom21kid2dogs replied: Oh! He's pretty!!! He's the size of a praying mantis, for goodness sakes!!!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: ewww.... and to think that some people actually enjoy eating them if they're chocolate covered.
My2Beauties replied: AAAAAACCCCKK I hate bugs. Honey you should see the gigantic waterbugs that get in our house They are terrible. Man that sucker is huge, I would have screamed bloody murder. We had the secadas here a couple years ago too and the area I live in had a large number of them and I was freaking out everyday that whole summer when we would get near trees. Ick.
MamaJAM replied: I hate bugs too. I've learned to handle spiders -- but we get 3-5 inch centipedes in our house in the warmer months! Those things just freak me out to no end!
fashionmumofboys replied: Wow, that grasshopper is huge. I am so with you with the bug thingy. I hate them to. They just give me the shivers. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
kimberley replied: yuck! i definitely couldn't deal with that.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Reading the posts above, gave me the heebie-jeebies even more. ICK!!
I do not know what waterbugs are, but they sound awful! Centipedes and secada's (I heard about the swarm a few years back) YUCK! OMG... I would have been a hermit until every last one of them were gone!
Cheryl, I know it is shameful to be a giant compared to the bugs-- and we are the ones scared of them.
Crystalina replied: I'm sorry, I will eat just about anything if it has chocolate on it.
Bugs used to bother me until I got a farm. Now they aren't so gross anymore. I have guineas and they eat most everything before it gets to me anyway. That's why I got the guineas, GREAT insect control. The only thing that gross' me out anymore are ticks. Now those little suckers (get it) are nasty but the guineas pretty much take care of them also.
My guineas doing what they do.
BAC'sMom replied: I'm sorry ladies you all had me laughing. There are certain bugs - June bugs, crickets and flying roaches that I don't like. They always seem to land in my hair and just totally freaks me out. But that is about it, I assume smash a bug as look at it. But hey if you think YOUR bugs are big try coming to TEXAS. We have Arnold Schwarz bugs HERE.
