I am so so stupid

5littleladies wrote: Maddie and Meg are gone tonight so I decided to wrap some gifts for them. I went to get a bag of stuff from our closet but I couldn't find it. I called Jas and asked him-He didn't know. I spent the next HOUR searching every last inch of the house and talking to Jas and asking him where it could be. I was in tears-there was probably $100 dollars worth of stuff in that dumb bag and we are running low on Christmas funds and can't afford to replace it. Finally I gave up and sat down in the living room when I happened to glance at the gifts under the tree-one of which looked suspiciously like one of the gifts in the bag I was frantically searching for. Yeah-I had already wrapped them and put them under the tree. I called Jas back and told him and he laughed so hard I thought he was going to wet his pants. I'll never hear the end of this.

It's good that you can laugh at yourself. I've done stuff like that. Just yesterday I was looking all over the house for my car keys and they were in my pocket of my jeans. I never put them in my pocket, but you would have thought I felt them in there.
