I am soooo nervous! I don't know if I can do this

I have to sell so much within 65 days or else I have to pay for my merchandise. So as soon as my merchandise gets here I will be booking my own Open House. I am so nervous and I haven't planned my party first.

Oh what did I get myself into, lol. When am I going to find the time to do this? LOL.

If nothing else, she may be able to tell you what has worked for her and what hasn't. I'm a horrible sales person so I envy anyone who has that skill! Good luck. Just think. If you do really well, you could quit your day job and stay home with boogabear.

kit_kats_mom replied: For what it's worth. You can decide the "formality" of the party. I've been to a few of these and the ones where kids are welcomed and the hostess has her kids playing in the living room, are the most comfortable for me.

Yup. I have been a partylite consultant since November. My first show was the toughest, but it shouldn't be. If you really like the product then let them see that in your show. I start off by telling everyone who I am and why I got into partylite. A great icebreaker is to play a game or have everyone introduce themselves. I like to have door prizes and a hostess gift as well. Most of all just have fun. This stuff is going to sell itself. Think of this as a break from your normal life, it is one of the reasons that I got into it. I like being able to get out of the house and away for a while. You are going to be great and if you need anything just let me know.

Lily replied: I think that's great! Congrats! I have no selling skills at all and I'm painfully shy in person so I just couldn't do it but for me it's a mental thing. Just get your confidence up and remember that these people are coming to YOU for the product. You are in control. I wish you lots of luck!
