I am trying to fight off this urge...

mummy2girls wrote: of wanting another baby! I keep telling myself i cant afford to have another one while im still single! I just miss those infant years with jenna. Jenna is just so independent right now. Wanting to eat herself, walking, talking, and now wants to dress herself. She is always off in her bedroom playing with her little poeple barn and animals.

I want to have another boy so badly. A "mommas boy" . what can i say or do to help me make this urge go away??

I need to find myself a tall dark and handsome guy...LOL!

Mistydiane replied: There is nothing anyway can say or do to make that urge go away....((HUGS))

A&A'smommy replied: I know what you mean I have baby fever SO bad right now! I agree though I don't think there is much anyone can say or do to make it go away except have another one..... sad.gif

DixieDarlin replied: I got that urge when mine got so big that they wouldn't cuddle. So I cured that urge when Jared was little and had Jacob. I had 4 miscarriages (2 before Jared and 2 after) and I had 2 very rough pregnancies (I almost died trying to carry and have Jacob) so I figured the safest thing to do was have my tubes cut and tied. Then when Jacob got a little bigger, I started wanting another baby but there was nothing we could do about it. DH says it's a good thing because every time one got to the toddler stage, I would end up having another one and we would end up with 50 kids running around rolling_smile.gif

Josie83 replied: I'm the opposite way around! I loved Cassie when she was a baby but I love her even more now she's a little person! My boyfriend wants another baby, but its really not practical because of us both being at school. Have you not got a friend's baby you can borrow (lol!) for the afternoon? Then you can have a cuddle with one and give them back when they start yelling! Are you feeling better after the bad day you had the other day? Love Josie xx

coasterqueen replied: LOL! If you find a tall dark handsome guy you won't be able to fight off the urge then. biggrin.gif

I wish I knew what to tell you. I often wonder when I'm done having children if that urge will ever go away, ya know? I don't think it does.

Maybe some ice cream??? dunno.gif biggrin.gif

mummy2girls replied:
LOL... im feeling much better and having a good day...so far tongue.gif

I guess i could borrow my brothers 6 months old girl... maby that will cure me for a bit...LOL

Boys r us replied: Maybe some ice cream!! Nice Karen!! rolling_smile.gif

Hmnm..I don't know! Do you have any friends or relatives who have infants that you can spend some time with to remember it's not ALL the FUN YOU REMEMBERED???

mummy2girls replied:
LOL>..... maby i can marry the tall dark and handsome dude and have more babies...LOL>

Good idea i should go buy some icecream! LOL

mummy2girls replied:
Actaully i loved it with jenna. she never was gassy or colicky at all. she slept 7 hours at a time at 2 months of age. And she would lay on the floor on a blanket for hours if i let her...

but maby my next baby will be a very gassy baby just because...LOL

Boys r us replied: rolleyes.gif You are RIGHT!! Trust me, Tanner was my angel..golden child..Braedon..WHEW! He's been just the opposite..very demanding, high maintenance, can't turn your back for a moment!

So let me reword this, do you have any friends/family with babies you can watch for awhile to see how UNeasy it is with two ALL OF THE TIME!! Whew, that's my birth control right there!

mummy2girls replied:
OHHHHHHHH... i gotcha that time...LOL. yes i could do that but i have to admit i need more than 3 to really feel it because ive been taking care of kids for so many years. One job i had was 1 year old triplet girls and a 5 year old boy while i was preggo with jenna.(10 hours a day 5 days a week) Now that was a birth control job! LOL

Kaitlin'smom replied: okay then find several kids/babies to watch and see if that takes it away rolling_smile.gif just kidding, I wonder if my DH actually wants more we had a friend over yesterday with his 3 girls 8, 6, and 2 1/2 they were great girls and they loved Kaitlin and she loved having them to play with. I was nice to have them around to keep her occupied while I was in the kitchen cooking, DH asked me if I liked having a house full of girls? Sure I did but wonder what he was getting at hummmmm

Kirstenmumof3 replied: sad.gif I miss the baby stage too! But I know this is it for us! I guess your suggestion about spending time with your brothers baby might work! thumb.gif
