ETA: Okay so now I have some questions. Where can you ride them? How do you transport them if you want to take them somewhere? Because we live in a residential area so we would have to take them to wherever we'd ride them. Can you ride them on the beach? DH really wants one and they look like so much fun.

As far as riding them on the beach it really depends on your state. My state makes you have a special sticker to ride there and we dont ride them there cause it tears them up. The salt on the beach is BAD on them.
We have 4 acres and acorss from us is 400 acres and directly behind us is 500acres of nothing but woods so we ride in there all the time.
Also we live close to 2 national forest so we ride there also.
As far as getting them from point A to point B if you have 1 and you have a truck it wont be to hard. But we have 5 and 2 dirt bikes so it takes alot more for us. We have an 18ft enclosed trailer that we haul them in and thats putting one in the bed of the truck. And that was with only 4 4-wheelers total. So now I am not sure what we are gona do.

I say get him one. They are always alot of fun.
