I can't believe them!!! - Parent vent... again!

One of them is Wellbutrin - an antidepressant!! I guess one of them took them out to take later and forgot them here!! I'm so glad I found them before Sophia could eat one!!!! Ugh!

MommyToAshley replied: OH MY!!!! So glad you found them before she could eat any. That is so scary! I guess when you get older, you forget what it is like to have a little one in the house. I remember hearing on the news that the most cases of overdose with toddlers happens during the holidays when visiting grandparents.

Glad all else went well, and you can relax again until the next visit.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: I can't believe they were that careless and just left that stuff lying around. My parents and DH's parents are like that as well. They are just not used to having little ones running around. Glad you found that stuff before Sophia did.

supermom replied: I am sure glad my mom wasn't like that, but when we went to visit DH's parents, it was not fun with him getting into stuff - HUGS to you!! Glad you found those pills before she could get them - even vitamins can be bad when they are that little.... to you and Sophia!

Kaitlin'smom replied: Oh no, I am glad you were there. I would say something to them and next time the visite remind them about she is little and does not always know when she shoudl not do or take something. Glad all is okay though and the visite went pretty good for the most part.

coasterqueen replied: Oh wow! Glad you found those pills first!!!! You would think parents would *remember* these safety measures, but I guess it has been a while since they *parented* a small child Then again, that would make me very wary of letting them watch my child alone.

Well, it's over, they are gone, though. WHEW!

Uggh---I know what you mean. It can be like that when you visit other people too, but at least in that case you know it's not your house and you have to be on guard. When it's your house, you hope people will be aware of how kids are. I'm glad you found those pills in time!
