I can't hide it from you guys anymore
My2Beauties wrote: I haven't said anything so that I wouldn't jinx it but I can't hold my excitement in. Hanna has been putting herself to sleep for 2 weeks now. She started doing this all by herself, I admit I miss rocking her really  I've only had to rock her once in two weeks for bed. Every other night we have either laid her on the couch until she falls asleep and we put her to bed or we put her in her crib and within about 15 minutes she falls asleep on her own. No crying, no whining, she just la ys there and babbles and talks and falls asleep. I mean she completely did this on her own. She started going in her room close to 10:00 every night and asking to be put in her bed, she covers herself up and goes to sleep  It's really cute, but I miss rocking my baby  When I rocked her the other night I got so happy  I know this is part of her growing up and it's good that she has decided to be independent on her own, she is just getting so big! But I thought it was a one night thing at first, then it turned into two nights and I just couldn't believe my eyes when she has done this the past two weeks! Go Hanna! Poor mommy

I remember feeling the same way the first time that Ashley asked to lay in her bed when I was rocking her... it's such a bitter sweet moment. I still rock Ashley for a few minutes before I put her in her bed and she goes to sleep on her own. Storytime and rocking right before bed is our special cuddle time.
P.S. I thought you were going to say you were PG. LOL!

LOL - I didn't even think about that! LOL! No, not preggers here! It'll be another year or so before we discuss another little one!
