I could REALLY use some sleep........

DillsMommy wrote: How long before your kids started sleeping through the night? Peyton still gets up every 2 hours to eat! Dylan was sleeping all night by 2 months. I am sooo exhausted, I don't know how I function during the day. Peyton just now turned 2 months, but it seems like he'll never sleep all night. bawling.gif

sparkys2boys replied: hug.gif hang in there girl.. he will sleep through the night before he leaves for college!!

lovemy2 replied: Both my kids slept through the nite between 8-10 weeks but neither were being breastfed at that point......and they both were also sucking their thumb by then - not the best habit but one that promotes self soothing and all nite sleep tongue.gif

DillsMommy replied: He's not breastfed either and just recently he's been trying to suck his thumb (cutest thing ever). If that'll help him sleep at night, that would be wonderful. Whatever works. And just over the past couple days, he's been going longer in between feedings during the day. Like 3-4 hours instead of 2. If he could just do that at night..........

Calimama replied: Bella was 2-3 months I think. I hope you get some sleep soon. hug.gif hug.gif

Danalana replied: Awwww, I hope you get some good sleep soon! hug.gif

Twelve Volt Man replied: My son is 5 months old, and he still wakes up a few times each night. Generally, he goes down around 6:30 PM, and wakes around 6:30 AM. When he wakes shortly after going down, my wife and I will let him cry himself back to sleep. When he wakes around 2 or 3 AM, however, my wife always gets up with him. I'm convinced that if she'd let him cry himself back to sleep, she could avoid getting up with him, but she chooses to do so. Meanwhile, I sleep soundly. The down side is, I always take the early morning shift with him. As a result, I can count on one hand, the number of days I've slept past 6 AM in the last five months.

stella6979 replied: Ah, I remember those days. biggrin.gif Avery is a year and a half and she still doesn't sleep through the night. I hope Peyton catches on soon though so you can get some much needed rest. Is there anyone around that can watch him for a few hours during the day so you could get a nap in?

moped replied: Oh I am sur eyou need sleep - poor girl!

Jack was 4 months

CantWait replied: hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif Wish I could be of some help, but it was awhile here with Anthony and shorter with Robbie.

avory&samsmom replied: Oh, I feel you! My first kid-o (daughter) slept through the night right away, but my son (who is four) is STILL waking up at night! Granted, he doesn't need changing, burping, feeding, etc. but he fights to go back to sleep. Hopefully it will end for you soon! hug.gif

Boo&BugsMom replied:
You have a normal baby now and were very blessed with the first one! I feel for you. Aiden is almost 6 months and still wakes up at least twice each night. Sometimes we can get him right back to sleep, other times he eats. Tanner was much more predictable and weaned himself off of almost everything (aside from his paci that we had to take away). I hear ya! Can I join your pity party??? wacko.gif

A&A'smommy replied: Alyssa slept throght the night at 5days old.. and only got up once or twice a night when she was going through a growth spurt. (I'm going to get it bad with this one)

I hope he starts sleeping more for you!! hug.gif hug.gif

MoonMama replied: I feel for you hon Brae is almost a year and STIILL does NOT sleep through the night. dry.gif Hang it there it does get better, he usually only wakes up once (sometimes twice) now thanfully but it was rough. hug.gif Can your DH maybe get up some one night a week at least, once DH started doing that for me it helped a LOT? hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif
