I did it!

My DH loves long hair too and I cut it once REALLY short, like to my ears and it was almost to my tush at the time. He never let me go get my hair cut alone again for a while.

I'm getting my hair cut and coloured tomorrow, I hate getting my hair cut and have never had it coloured before, wish me luck! Its just geting too long and hasn't been cut for about five months I have to say, cassie loves getting her hair cut . . . is she weird or what?! Good luck with your trip tho!! xx

Kaitlin'smom replied: WOW thats a HUGE step, congrats, and what a great cause my dad has grown his hair out twice for that reason. I cant waite to see it. I need to get my cut, but I dont think I will cut it that short yet, it has really grown since the last time I cut 8 inches off.

MomToMany replied: I cut my hair back in May, and got a lot cut off. Not exactly sure how much it was, but close to 10 inches. It still feels weird not having all that hair back there! Mine was down past my waist when I got it cut.

I cut off about 6-7 inches so what you did was doubly difficult I am sure! DH isn't thrilled with me but it's been a HUMID summer, I'm home with our 14-month old, AND I am pg. I said heck I am suffering from the heat so I am cutting it to just-below shoulder length. I should've gone shorter! He's getting used to it and since I colored it yesterday he's a bit happier.

Good luck with DH - they all love long hair don't they? I'd like to see these guys go through their day with hair that long with the kids!
