I don't know how you Co-sleepers - do it....Mckaylee slept with me last

mckayleesmom wrote: night......and it was a battle. rolling_smile.gif . Around 9pm she had a nightmare and said something was outside her window. She said she wanted to sleep downstairs and I told her no, that she could sleep with Mommy for JUST tonight. I was trying to watch HOUSE and she was being a little Chatty Cathy. rolleyes.gif . She finally went to sleep and then Russell wakes up...so she wakes up to. Get them both back down and finally fall asleep....Im telling you...WHAT A BED HOG....she kept laying diagnally and every time I tried to move her she would scream "no, leab my plillow lone". Around 3am she had another nightmare and I had to calm her down and remind her of where she was. Then around that time she decided to hijack my pillow...so she was laying practically on top of me....... rolleyes.gif ...Lets just say...I am tired this morning snooze.gif .

coasterqueen replied: laugh.gif That's my Kylie too. What DH and I both discovered is that if you cuddle with her (hold her) then she won't do that. Otherwise it's like a kickboxing match in bed with her and I just get out and let her have it. laugh.gif She wasn't so much like that as a baby though.

Kaitlin'smom replied: laugh.gif sorry but that was quite a mental picture. Thankfully when Kait does get into bed with em she does NOT do that or she would NOT sleep with me. However if you put her in the middle she will kick daddy out and hog his side, so he says.

ions_momma replied: Ion will sleep in our bed every once in a while and thankfully, he doesnt sleep like that! Sounds like you had quite the night... laugh.gif

luvbug00 replied: Mya is in my bed almost every night. she kick's turn diagnal and is the bigest cover hog!! emlaugh.gif hope ou get a better nights rest tonight.

My2Beauties replied: Girl - this is the exact reason I cannot sleep with Hanna wacko.gif When I put her to bed at night, she is laying comfortably on her pillow covers over her, sleeping like an angel, when I get up in the morning to check on her, the covers are flung off, she is laying either sideways or at the opposite end of the bed and her legs are spread wide apart and she is taking up the entire bed! They sound like the same kid laugh.gif

Oh and hey - House was good last night wasn't it??? Next week is going to be awesome!

Kaitlin'smom replied:
shuhhhh laugh.gif I am 2 weeks behind laugh.gif I have last week and now this week to watch. We watched the episode from 2 weeksa ago last night so we did not have 3. laugh.gif terrible I know. I love that show

luvmykids replied: My kids were all so great at night and lately all of the sudden one or two or all three mysteriously end up in bed with me, they're sneaky though, they don't wake me up first, just climb on in. I sleep through most of the shenanigans though but have had nights like you did. Better sleep tonight! snooze.gif

~~*Missi*~~ replied: LOL sorry ... don't you wonder how such little things need SO much room......

Hope you get a GREAT nice sleep and maybe nap today and night

ediep replied: yup, Jason is the same way.

ashtonsmama replied: It just doesn't work for some families I guess...sorry you had a not so good night's sleep!
For us, it's still working out really well, because Ashton's in a sleeper attatched to our bed, so I can just roll him over into our bed in the night, and he can just nurse in bed, so it's alot easier for me. And I get a pretty good sleep. Last couple nights haven't been perfect examples, but most of the time, he's a good sleeper.

C&K*s Mommie replied: There are kicks and bed hoggin', but sooner than later I want them out- for a variety of reasons. Even though I have said to Chris in the past, that as long as they are happy--- let 'em stay. But I am ready for them to be out. Kel is cute because she cuddles in the middle of the night with whoever is next to her. wub.gif Christian does the kicking mostly, unless she is on the side next to the wall, so she is not able lay perpindicular to the bed, or kick as much either.

3xsthefun replied: Maegan use to do that when she slept with us. Alot of times DH ended up getting out of bed or I put Maegan on the couch. She would always somehow have her feet up at DH's head and be kicking him.

mom21kid2dogs replied: I've slept with my nieces before and they are just like that! Luckily, Olivia sleeps like a stone. Aside from turning over, she never moves. Otherwise, we'd had had to give her the boot (or get a bigger bed than a double) long ago! thumb.gif

CantWait replied: laugh.gif haha sorry your sleep didn't go so well. Anthony sleeps the same way, all over the place and stealing my pillow and my blanket. Hopefully you catch a few more snooze.gif snooze.gif tonight.

Cece00 replied: I cant sleep with my kids either. Thank goodness they rarely want to (maybe like 2 times a yr)

ilovemybaby replied: Oh I know! I can't co-sleep with Abby. She will lie there and talk to me and if I close my eyes she pokes my face and plays with my face laugh.gif She does it to my parents too. She just won't go to sleep. And I end up with a sore back.

The only way I could co-sleep is if we had a crib against the bed with only one side. That way she could have her own space!

Brias3 replied: I'm with the majority here- can't sleep with them very comfortably without getting kicked or hit in the face by a hand shifting over. They're really restless sleepers but I think they get it from me- my husband says I'm not only restless but a bed hog too rolleyes.gif laugh.gif

My3LilMonkeys replied: I had that experience when we went camping over Easter! The IL's camper has a sofa bed and a table bed so DH and Brooke slept on one and Madison & I on the other. Once you get her to lay down and go to sleep Brooke sleeps like a rock. Madison, on the other hand, rolls around so much that she pulled the fitted sheet off of her corner and ended up underneath of it. She also got a nice bruise from rolling over so hard she whacked her head off of the wall. rolleyes.gif
