I'm glad to see that pic, because every time you referred to the hammock in your posts I pictured something completely different (I pictured something like what the Skipper and Gilligan slept in). Schnoogly's hammock looks very cozy---I wish I had one for myself here at work.

Schnoogly replied: His face was completely in the hammock for about 10 minutes, then he turned it to the side somewhat. He woke up about 40 min later then slept another 20 min in my lap (pretty typical)

It's not a diaper cover--it's pants from the target halloween clearance rack! They're actually girls pants size 3T but I cut them off so they wouldn't be too long I also got a shirt for next halloween in 3T each for a dollar!!

Schnoogly replied: Oh and Dansmom they do make one similar to the tie to two trees kinds of hammocks but it looked a lot less stable to me and easier to roll out of. Cheaper though!

You basically have to strap them into this one and it looks OK for a newborn but not for a baby that can roll over. Iain can climb out of the hammock now but ours is much more "contained" and has much more natural motion. It swings all around and bounces up and down.
