I dont take this lightly - gun stolen from me

lisar wrote: I am so mad right now. Me and my boss were talking about our guns this morning and how I want a new holster for my little .22 Well I go to show him which one I am talking about and guess what ITS MISSING. I keep it in my desk. Last time I remember seeing it was on Monday. Well the underground crew was in my office wed morning looking for batteries. And that boy is a known thief. Nothing we can do about him he is the owners son. (my uncle) And my bosses brother. But I dont care about that I am reporting the gun stolen and telling them that he was the last person in my office. He has a crimal record a mile long. I am so mad. And to top it all off I have to tell my dh. Who is gona wanna kick his butt. growl.gif growl.gif growl.gif growl.gif growl.gif

It has started out to be a great day

mckayleesmom replied: I would definantly report it regardless....If it is used in a crime you don't want it being pinned on you.

lisar replied:
Oh yes I am reporting it stolen. And I told dh and he said that he is gona go and have a "talk" with him later.

mckayleesmom replied:
I would have your dh let the police handle it....you don't want anything to get out of hand....afterall..he is possibly armed now.

coasterqueen replied: ohmy.gif OMG, how scary!! You keep a gun in your desk at work, unlocked? And your boss doesn't care? That would be a HUGE liability to a company if something happened. unsure.gif

luvbug00 replied: I agree keep the hubby away! let the poliece handle it becuase this guy sounds like a loose cannon.

Celestrina replied:
ITA This isn't something you want to mess with. If you give him a heads-up you suspect him, he would probably ditch it (if he didn't sell it already).

lisar replied: The gun is gone. I know that. He wouldnt keep it. And yea my bosses dont care. Heck they have them in thier desk also. I am here 8 out of 9 hours a day ALONE. And yes there are some freaks that stop by here sometimes. I dont want to be un armed and alone with some crazy guy.

coasterqueen replied:
I hope I didn't offend you, it was not my intention. I'm just shocked a company would take such a high risk liability. I completely understand being alone in the office all day long and freaks dropping by. I have the same thing here all the time and our office is located by bars everywhere. If I have to walk out to my car in the dark by myself I call Dh to talk to me because there are crazies coming in and out of the bars. Luckily I can at least lock the door all day long while I'm here alone.

I hope the police can find your gun and no one gets hurt. hug.gif

punkeemunkee'smom replied: That is terrible! I hope you are able to recover it. Have you called any of the pawn shops around? KUP on what the police say/do..... hug.gif

luvmykids replied:
That was my first thought, he's probably pawned it already. KUP hug.gif

lisar replied:
yea he wouldnt pawn it cause he knows he could get busted like that. He more than likley sold it to a crack dealer for a rock or something. I did call the police they are sending an officer out to make a report. They asked me on the phone if I had any suspesions of who might have taken it. I said yes I know who took it I just cant prove it. They said that was fine they dont take this lightly and they will go to his house and have a talk with him about it. They will pat him down first to make sure it isnt on him. Which is fine with me. I know they wont find it but just the pure satisfaction of the cops showing up on his door asking him about it is great. Hopefully he will be a messed up when they get there and he gets busted for something else.

You have to remember the owners of the company I work for are My Grand father and my uncle. The guy who stole my gun is my grandfathers son. Who is a low life not worth anything POS. Crack smoking (&$^(&#(*&%^%&*#^. Thats why he digs ditched for a living that he cant do right anyways.

lisar replied:
No you didnt offend me at all. If I sounded rude or something I am sorry. Its just been a bad day starting out.

punkeemunkee'smom replied: So he is your Dad/Mom's uncle? That is a little more complicated than just some employee....I am sorry! That really sucks.

lisar replied:
He is moms brother. My bosses brother and my big big bosses son.

punkeemunkee'smom replied: wacko.gif That is what I meant! rolling_smile.gif I was thinking your uncle their brother and I had a brain fart while typing! rolling_smile.gif

Calimama replied: Yikes!!! I hope you get it back!

holley79 replied: Well if they do find it on him and he's a felon he will serve time for it. That's really sad and I hope you are able to recover it. Do you have the serial numbers?

sparkys2boys replied: Oh wow, what a situation. I really hope maybe he will get scared and dmit that he has it ot that he should it and the police can recover it in case some freak gets there hands on it and someone gets hurt.
