I don't want to clean.
~Roo'sMama~ wrote: So I'm not. I'm terrible... my house is so messy and dirty and I haven't done anything to clean it all week except a load of laundry and a load of dishes. I just don't feel up to it - I have been so tired lately. I need a cleaning lady. (I wish!)
Our Lil' Family replied: I know just how you feel, I put off cleaning like nothing else, but this morning I made myself do it. I cleaned for 3 hrs non stop, thankfully DH took Thomas to the gym with him so I could do the things that are harder with an infant and a husband around!
It's ironic but I hate cleaning but absolutely love having a clean house! Go figure!
mckayleesmom replied: I clean all day...everyday and it never NEVER NEVER stays that way long.
kimberley replied: lol i hear ya. i clean in the morning before DH goes to work, then at night when the kids are in bed. really no point trying to do it in between
punkeemunkee'smom replied: I LOVE<LOVE<LOVE it when my house is all clean and sparkley but getting it that way is BLAH!!! Lol! I think it the picking up the same toys 50 times while I am cleaning everything! How is it that I feel like I am always cleaning but it always needs it?
kayla's mama replied: lol anti-cleaner here. I clean once I put Kayla to bed, if I feel like it
CantWait replied: why do you think I'm on the computer LOL
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Lol I hear you... I've been online all day. The only time I can clean without having to listen to Andrew crying is when he's sleeping, and I like using that quiet time to relax. I wish Andrew would be happy playing by himself for longer than 5 or 10 minutes - I usually spend all his awake time holding him or playing with him. I've actually been wondering if I should be doing this - am I creating a clingy monster? I do let him fuss and cry when I am cooking dinner or something and can't pick him up, but I can't stand just letting him cry while I clean... and it doesn't really help me stick to cleaning when I don't want to in the first place.
Mom2Boyz replied: I know what you mean!!! I finally got up the energy to clean my living room, start a load of laundry, run the vaccum and sweep and mop my kitchen floor. I think that will be the extent of my cleaning for today It never stays clean anyway
lesliesmom replied: I don't understand how some people do it. The lady that runs the daycare I send my kids too watches up to 12 kids a day plus she has three of her own and her house is always spotless and I know she doesn't get to clean during the day with all the kids and running around she does. I don't get it. I wish I had super powers to clean. Maybe this weekend. I do try and keep up on the laundry though, but the rest of the house, forget aboudit....
5littleladies replied: Same here. No matter what I do-it takes just minutes for everyone to dirty it up again.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: It seems like I'm constantly doing something in the way of cleaning. I do much better first thing in the morning (when I have the most energy). By the afternoon I am spent. I go to the gym, come home and fix lunch, we eat, Ethan takes a nap, I clean lunch dishes, we go get Maddie, come home and get ready for dinner and bed. When is there time to clean??
My2Boyz replied: Cleaning, what's that? I'm lucky if the laundry is done. I try to do it on the weekend, but I am not always successful. My DH works in the yard and I am left inside with the chores; I have to admit he does help which is nice, but they still never seem to get done. Just when I think I am done, I have to start the whole process over. I have thought about asking my neighbors daughter if she wants to earn a little extra cash.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: I know what you mean... thats exactly why half the time I don't even feel like bothering! It takes so much energy to get it all done and then you just have to start all over. I made up a cleaning schedule tonight though I'm starting on it tomorrow we'll see how it goes!
A&A'smommy replied: I hate cleaning!!! When Alyssa was that age I didn't very much but every so often i would get someone to watch her while I cleaned the house... now that she is older I clean the house about once a week and i do all of our laundry about twice a week... sometimes, I don't always fold it all either
I say take it easy and enjoy your baby boy only do what you absolutly have too!!
CantWait replied: I'll just say this, I don't know if it'll make a difference or not, but I held Anthony nearly all the time cause he was so clingy, he's 2 now, and guess what; he's still really out of control clingy.
