I freaked the f*** out this morning........ - these darn kids are making me CRAZY.....
Hillbilly Housewife wrote: it's 6am.
All three kids are in my room, on my bed, arguing about sho gets to sit where. One slaps the other. One shrieks. One stands up and falls on me, hard. The dog whines. Loud. One shrieks again. One cries. One whines some more. Dog's still whining.
Freak out number one - me telling everyone to shut the f*** up or get the he** out of my room!
4 minutes go by. Dog whines again. DH takes dog out to do her business. Brings her back to her crate, snuggles up. Child whines she's hungry. Told to suck it up and wait for breakfast. 2 minutes go by. Child whispers. Child slaps another. Child cries. Screaches. Slaps. Cries. Screaches.
Freak out number two - me getting up out of bed raging, shoving each child in a separate area of the room, and told to shut up or they're going back to bed.
Dog whines.
Kids whine they're hungry.
I tell them to shut up they need to wait until breakfast. They shut up. Not 10 seconds later..."I'm thiiiirsty!!" "I don't want to watch thiiiiiiis"
Dog whines
Freak out number three...I get out of bed screaming... grab the two girls and shove them in their bed yelling at them to shut the f*** up, that they're in MY room and I'm trying to SLEEP and why can't they ever just SHUT THE F*** UP and I slam their door.
Zach in the meantime has been nicely quietly watching the cartoons... so he gets to stay. Anyways... by this time I'm sobbing hysterically because I'm just so darned tired and the kids won't SHUT UP and I hate mornings and the darn dog's still whining and I NEED A VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oddly enough, the kids have been *very* quiet the past 2 hours...
lovemy2 replied: You actually use that language with your kids
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Not usually... i do cuss around them, but not usually AT them. Today is horrid.
lovemy2 replied: Can't say that I do either - maybe a slip once in a great while but I try very very hard not too....
Sorry you are having a bad day already - hope it gets better
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Thanks.
msoulz replied: So sorry you are having one of those days.
Kaitlin'smom replied: cant DH take the kids for a while and you get a NAP sounds like you really need one.
lisar replied: I hope your day gets better.
booey2 replied: Hugs , I too had a blow up this morning. The kids have been off school too long IMHO. The boys were going at each other like there is no tommorow. Hang in there, hopefully the weather will warm up sooner rather than later and you can send them out to burn off some of the nastiness.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: I wish. But...dh had to go back to work this morning.
luvmykids replied: Nothing gets on my nerves more than whining first thing in the morning, and over stupid stuff. Hope your day gets better
CantWait replied: Sorry Rocky!!!!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Much better now.
A&A'smommy replied: yikes I hope your day continues to get better!!!

grapfruit replied: Rocky! I wish I was there to keep an eye on them so you could go take a hot bath or something
Calimama replied: Aww I'm glad you're feeling better.
My3LilMonkeys replied: Glad it's gotten better.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I know exactly how you feel. I can't wait til school starts. I'm horrible and I know it, but I need a break!!! I'm losing my mind.
The sound of their voices is about to send me over the edge. The only thing keeping me from actually going over is my vacation in a month. My husband doesn't understand and when I lose it and end up raising my voice and swear at the kids he looks at me like I've lost my mind...it's b/c I HAVE! Does he just think I like yelling like that? Shouldn't he take it as a hint that I need a freaking BREAK???? Instead he only makes me feel worse.
A&A'smommy replied: BTDT its certaintly not any fun feeling that!!!
Brias3 replied: Oh, I feel all of you! I was SOO excited to have the kids go back to school on Wednesday and I feel sad to admit it, but seriously. I think there is something in the water this month- they are driving me INSANE!
Cece00 replied: I have days like that, too. Sometimes I am ready to lock myself in the room
Today when they were bugging me too much, I put the little ones down for a nap & told the older 2 they could play video games as long as they wanted as long as they stayed in their beds....
So I managed to get like 1.5 hrs to chill out.
Then I wanted to put them to bed early & was SO EXCITED that I was going to have like 2 hrs to myself with no kids & NO DH, I could just lay around. Then DH came home early. BOO.
I cant cuss like that around my kids, though. They'd repeat it...in PUBLIC.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Mine don't really. I'm lucky...or something.
MommyToAshley replied: Sounds like a rough start to the day, glad things are better now.
Kaitlin'smom replied: darn sorry I hope your day went better....
Bamamom replied: Hope your day is getting better.
You know some folks (including me) would consider directing that kind of language at children to be a form of verbal abuse. I know in my state it's illegal. Just a thought...
coasterqueen replied: Rocky,
I hope today is better. I've had days like that too where they just constantly whine and bicker and you do everything you can just to stay a tiny bit sane. If I'm tired, it's even worse.
mommy~to~a~bunch replied: Ditto.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Yeah well life's a "peach".
booey2 replied: We all have those days, some of us chose different language to use than others, it all depends on our personal parenting style and our children. I know that when I have used words that we don't want the boys using they are the first ones to tell us not to use them and they will repeat them if we are not careful.
