I got a job interview!!

One of them called me yesterday to do a phone interview. I did the phone interview this morning and really thought that I wasn't going to get a call for an in person interview - I wasn't as prepared as I should have been and didn't do a great job with some of the questions. But, I figured it was good practice and that I'd be more prepared for the next one.

They just called me back and scheduled an interview for next Thurs. Keep your fingers crossed for me!!!!

The only downside is now I have to go buy a professional looking maternity outfit, knowing full well I will only wear it the one time. Time to hit the thrift store I guess!

Well, in PA maternity leave doesn't qualify for disability pay or anything like that so all I'm getting paid at the moment is unemployment, which is better than nothing but not great. With the last 2 I only took 4 weeks off, with this one I'll probably do either 3 or 4 weeks. So I would start working in early September (unless the baby comes late, but DH is ready for him to come NOW so if I go past my due date he'll probably put me on a trampoline or something )

Do they go to daycare?

No daycare luckily. DH works an afternoon shift, 5pm-2AM. And I will be working an office job so probably 9-5 or similar. So for the hour or so inbetween when he has to leave and I get home, they go to grandma's house. One of the benefits of having a MIL who lives right across the street.
