I got my new camera! - Pics

Evan's lips are so chapped (I just took these about an hour ago). He refuses to put chapstick on because it's "lipstick" to him.

I would have gotten some shots of Izabella but she had to do her hair and change her clothes and I told her I'd come back to her.

Now I know you and I got a canon camera for V-day. Which one again, did you get? Dh got me the Canon Powershot 10.0 Megapixel Digital Camera. I have a digital Kodak but it's several years old and doesn't have as good as a zoom as the canon does. I love the canon, but it seems the pictures are not as bright as my kodak. Dh says the canon looks more natural. Of course mine look a lot darker than yours (even w/flash). Are you lightening them up somehow?

I got the Canon EOS 20D 8.2 Megapixel with 18-55mm lens. I was going to get a Nikon 40D but I fell in love with this one. Needless to say I will not be getting another gift for quite some time.

As for the lightness, I just mess around in post processing to get what I want. All photos taken in my house are really dark because my windows are so small.

So what editing program do you use? I just have my kodak one I use and can't do that much to pictures.

A&A'smommy replied: I'm SOOOO jealous, I want the Canon EOS 5D but thats WAY out of my price range (but you know it could be cheaper if they didn't feel they need to put an HD video on there ). Awesome pictures!!!

Well, this camera is very pricey but it's also my gift for everything for the rest of the year...or two. Not to mention I got it really cheap on Ebay. It was a very short auction that I just stumbled across and sniped it out from under someone else.
