I gotta ask............ - Vig, do all men
moped wrote: watch movies on TV really really loud? I walk in the house and I feel my heart booming from the volume so high on the TV - what is up with that? Is it a guy thing?
mammag replied: Ha! I thought it was just my dh and maybe he was losing his hearing!!!
moped replied: Oh no - I just go crazy~!
DVFlyer replied: I wouldn't know. My speakers are too small to play loud
moped replied: LOL - Good one..............I see you are in the same VOLUME catergory!!!!!
Mommy2BAK replied: What is that picture of?
TLCDad replied: Those are the same size as my stereo speakers too.
I do not really play the TV loud but I am "told" that I play music too loud... especially when I have a beer or two. Though has been quite awhile since I've blasted my stereo.
moped replied: Gee...........it sounds like all the nem on here would be about the same as my husband - about 45, love the classic rock tunes and plays movies and music way too loud and think they are still a teenager listneing to Led Zeppelin (sp)??? Any of this sounds familiar???
LOLOL
atlantamomof2 replied: LOL I thought it was only my DH too!
He claims he can't hear it if it's normal volume level. Then he must be losing his hearing, right?!?
DVFlyer replied:
That's a subwoofer.
[audiophile mode] How can it be loud when I listen to it at "0"? [/audiophile mode]
gr33n3y3z replied: WTG Guys Its the only way I have a bose system in my house and when Nascar races are on sounds like they are in the living room with you. Ha music I wont go there
loveydad replied: Well sorry I msised this but I had a lot to do today. The person it's addressed to answers last LOL figures
Well personally I have the tv up loud because I odn't hear as well I think I screwed up my ears listening to movies and loud music. I would listen to the tv loudre but since my kids are affected by it esp while trrying tos leep I don't. I don't have speakers I jsut have a tv. LOL
I'm 45 I'm past the stage where I want music to be thundering loud in my ear, but htek ids like it LOUD and Proud LOL
Becky74 replied: everything here has to be in surround sound. I did not request a Bose lifestyle 35 from my husband to be wasted at a low volume. J/K we don't listen to is loud, but it does sound good.
That subwoofer is HUGE!!!
boocoomomma replied: Funny how music and movies have to be at eardrum-busting level, but if I am talking on the phone and quietly whisper something about dh to my friend, then he can miraculously(sp) hear quite well. Ain't that strange!!!
My2Beauties replied: Oh and Jen I'm throwing this in too, Brian will have the freaking TV booming loud to where I can barely hear my phone convo so if I start to speak up he motions for me to be quiet so he can hear the TV Excuse me buddy but you must be deaf
ediep replied: yup, My dh and my dad both watch TV very loud!!!!
