indywndy_04 replied: First off...some doctors offices make me sooo mad. You have every right to see him and talk about anything you want to talk to him about. An OBGYN is your resource to help you in your trying to conceive your family. You have every right to make an appt and see him. I can not stand when they dont call back. I would call and make an appt to talk with him. You need that, you need to see what he suggests and what he can do for you.

My suggestion is to call them and make an appt.

Dana, I understand. What you have been through is terrible, but they should be helping you. I am glad you have some supportive people here around you. I wish I could come through the computer just to offer a hug.

I don't know if a story will help, but it just goes to show that nurses in ob/gyn's offices are busy and sometimes don't think before they act. Here is my story....

Years ago, 1995 to be exact, I had a miscarriage (after 4 yrs of ttc). I had gained wgt during this pg and after about 12 weeks, I still hadn't lost it. I called the docs office and the nurse is trying to be kind. I am questioning why I still had this wgt, esp since I had not had AF so I had no evidence that I was not pg, she made some suggestions, then forgetting that she was talking to a woman who had lost her baby, she said: "It is beautiful weather out there, put the baby in his stroller and go for a walk. Do that every day the wgt will pour off you." WTH my 'baby'was 4 years old and didn't need a stroller. She just was too busy to remember but it was cruel for me just the same. I know it is tough, but they just haven't gotten you to the top of their list today, you really need to call them so you can get an appt with a doctor.

Danalana replied: I called them...I talked to them yesterday too. The lady said, "Are you having any trouble?" A tad!!!!
Anyway, a nurse is going to call me back and tell me when i can get worked in. But today is my only day off until sunday. They said working me in would be quicker than an appointment.

MAKE the time to get there when they can work you in - you NEED some answers - it will help you heal and move on...you may not get all the answers but even some at this point will help you to heal..

There is some kind of saying about helping yourself, etc....
