I had Ashley's Parent-Teacher conference.. - (Warning: Mommy Brag)

The teacher said that Ashley is such a sweet girl. She said Ashley is ready for Kindergarten and recommended sending her this year even though she is so young. She said she listens well, always works hard, and all the kids love her. She said Ashley is the yougest in her class but at the top of the class. Her teacher said that when they line up, there is always a problem because the kids want to be in line next to Ashley. I always worried about how Ashley would do with large groups of kids since she is an only child, so that was good to hear.

Sorry for the LONG mommy brag, I am just so proud of my little girl.

WTG Dee Dee & Rod!!

I wouldn't worry about her age & school at all. The kid who is in the highest reading level in O's class turned 5 the day before the cut off for Kindergarten. It's definately a kid by kid thing as to who's ready & who's not!
