I had my surgery yesterday and..

Boys r us wrote: I'm alive!!! In tons of pain, but I expectd that!! I have 4 big holes in my tummy and my belly is beginning to turn black and blue..but I mostly miss my babies, they're with my MIL so I can rest! Alliebelle has never been away from me for more than a couple of hours 1 time on New Year's eve and I haven't seen her since Sunday night and I'm so sad!!! But they'll be home this evening!!!

Anyhow, just thought I'd share that I'm gall bladder-less!! LOL

mom2my2cuties replied: You should start feeling MUCH better soon. Sorry you are bruising...I didn't bruise that much at all, which is shocking, considering, but I was very tender for a couple months after the surgery.

Did they staple or stitch you? I was stitched internally, glued and then stapled. The staples came out 2 1/2 weeks later, because I was a ding dong and decided to use my passion fruit body works soap I got for a "get well" gift from a friend the day after my surgery and got myself nice and infected.

mckayleesmom replied: I hope you feel better soon. I had mine out last year and was fine after about a week....I didn't do the 3 incision one...I opted to have them open me up to take mine out.....It was one cut below my ribs. I felt like they were broke for about a week.
