I had the worst weekend - Lexi's dog died

The snake got away and Spud died almost instantly. We were going to take him the Vet ER but before we could even get him to the car he died. He was 3 years old. And Lexi is devastated. He was her life. We buried him at the back of our property and she put flowers on there and she said that he was in heaven with Grandma and that Grandma would take care of him now. I promised her that I would get her another dog. I have to do something to help take her mind off of Spud.

This is just the worse thing that happened. Here is the rest.

Me and BF Amanda almost got into a fight at the jiffy store with a bunch of guys. It all happened right after spud died so my mouth just went off. He started it, I took his parking spot (I swear I didnt see him). And well he decided while in the store to confront me about it. And he had a few choice words. So did I after that I wasnt in the mood for him. I flat out told this guy if he wanted we could take care of it right here and right now. He didnt want any though. I dont think he expected little ole me to say something like that. And then all the guys that were in the store were all taking his side and making there comments I told them all I wasnt scared and I would beat each and everyone of them "butts" if they wanted me to. Amanda was going off at the mouth also. I am normally not like that but it just wasnt the time to mess with me. I didnt have any kids with me at the time.

And then to make things even better saturday night there was a bad wreck at the end of my road, we went down there and the SUV was upside down in the ditch full of water, the woman was okay she was stuck in her seatbelt so we got her out, her truck was filling with water. And the guy that made her wreck, he wrecked about 100ft past her and got out and ran into the woods. The helicopter and K-9 dogs came and they found his butt. I was just so happy that the lady was okay. It was BAD.

I'm confused about the you took "his spot" was it marked or he just wanted it?? Sounds like you should of beat his "butt" sounds called for to me. He needs knocked down a peg or three!!!!

lisar replied: Thanks everyone. I am still pretty torn up about it. Its mainly cause of Lexi. She is just so upset. She slept with his picture lastnight, cause he wasnt there with her. I walked in there and saw that and just started crying again. I have searched all day for another puppy for her. But I cant seem to find one. I really dont wanna pay $700.00 for another one. Thats how much they go for. I got spud for $75.00 cause I recsued him. I have searched all the rescue places here and around us and cant find anything right now. I am just in one of those moods today. KWIM? Its like all a daze. And when I have Raygen walking thru the house yelling for spud that isnt helping Lexi any. Raygen just doesnt understand. I know that but it keeps upsetting Lexi which isnt helping me at all.
