I have the best parents in the world
luvmykids wrote: I had told my parents to check the paper for me for a fridge for the new house, the owners made it clear they weren't leaving any appliances. Today at the walk through they said they'd been thinking about getting a new fridge for their new house and would I "mind" if they left the one that's there....I said nope, I don't mind a bit
Anyway, my mom just called and said they were going to buy me a fridge but since I don't need one they still wanted to give me a housewarming gift....and would $1000 get me started?!?!?!?!?!!!!!! They have been so wonderful, always, but especially the last few months and now this
mckayleesmom replied: Awww...that is really nice.....I want your parents...
luvmykids replied: The best part is...they've never been able to do anything like that so they're so excited to be able to, kwim? I'm almost happier for that than the fact that I'm the beneficiary
Maddie&EthansMom replied: That's AWE-SOME!!!!
My3LilMonkeys replied: That is great!!
Our Lil' Family replied: WOW! That is so nice!!!
BAC'sMom replied: How sweet of them
CantWait replied: SWEET!!! Any plans for with the new money? I'm sure we could help give you ideas LOL
luvmykids replied: I'm so torn, Macie needs a real bed (she doesn't sleep well in her toddler bed) and I'll probably spend some of it getting the carpet cleaned when we move out of this place....BUT what I would LOVE to spend it on is a dining room table. The one I have is a hand me down from MIL (and not the one with good taste ) They had such a dysfunctional family that I hate to sit at the same table they shared their (*$%($% up meals at (I know, I know, not nice)
MoonMama replied: Thats great what sweet parents!
kristy-n-chad replied: How generous!
CantWait replied: Hey I'm sure you could do all of that with that money. I think your reasoning behind the new table is justified for sure. We all want our meal times to be happy memories as with everything else. Happy shopping.
