I learned a new trick - .....changing diapers
CantWait wrote: Anthony is so mobile and would rather stay soaked all day then lay down for 2 minutes to have his bum changed. When I do lay him down, he wiggles and squirms around and is constantly turning his body over and trying to stand up. So now when he's standing on a piece of furniture, I take his old diaper off and manage to somehow put the new one on I'm so proud of myself. Though I still haven't figured out how to change the poopy ones
A&A'smommy replied: LOL funny boy! Glad you figured out to work around his squirmyness LOL ! That is just too funny! Good luck with the poopy ones!
coasterqueen replied: LOL! I went to Pamper Pull-ups for toddlers when Kylie started doing this.
Schnoogly replied: We always change diapers that way, and have since he could stand. The poopy ones are a pain, but what I do is put a pad under him while he's standing so if he sits down he doesn't smear it everywhere, and I wipe it as best I can while he's standing. It is a royal pain though!!
Lily replied: LOL Jesse was always really squirmy too. Glad you found something that works!
booey2 replied: My sitter is able to do this, I still haven't mastered it thou. Thomas removes his diaper for me if he poops and then will put his hands on the floor sticking his bum in the air for me to wipe him up then he will lay down for a new diaper. We have tried pullups on a few occassions just because we have them in the house but he is not really ready for them yet.
Kaitlin'smom replied: I have changes a few wet ones like this but no way on the poopy ones. I still uses her changning table so she can squrim to much.....
5littleladies replied: Lol-I'm glad you found a way that works better. I must be lucky-Brianna still has no problems laying down for me.
kimberley replied: LOL i used to do that too with James. just make sure you don't do it when it is cold.... then you get the sprinkler going
CantWait replied: LOL on the sprinkler going Kimberley....
I'm so glad I'm not the only one going through this
megsmommie replied: Lol, ewww not the sprinkler. When my son Lewis was a baby, my dad was changing his diaper while he was standing on the kitchen table and he sprinkled right in my dads mouth as he was talking! Talk about yuck!!!
MommyToAshley replied: Ewwwww! Gross!
LOL! Can't Wait, glad you found something that worked for you! I bet that is a sight to see
CantWait replied: Ewwwwwww
