I love Netflix!!

5littleladies wrote: I've been meaning to get a kids' workout dvd for the girls to do when it's too yucky to go outside and I want something more focused for them to do physically. I was going to get them Tae Bo Kicks but wasn't sure about spending the money for it without trying it first. Well I just looked on Netflix and they have it!! Woohoo!! Now I can try it before I buy it. Not only that-they have TONS of workout dvd's so I can get something for myself and rotate if I get tired of whatever I'm using. (once I get my wrist fixed that is rolleyes.gif ) I'm so excited!! partydance.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: I love(d) Netflix, too. We want to get back with them, but we know we will not take the time to watch any movies. So we are holding off right now. I like them so much that when I got a notice about a class action lawsuit brought against them by someone in Cali, I wrote a letter stating that I did not wish to participate, and to take my name off of any lists involving the lawsuit. (although I never sent it off! blush.gif )

We had a big list of movies in queue when we were living in Tallahassee, and we had it worked out so we could get (3) movies on Fri, watch one together, have one for Christian (who at the time was our only child) on Saturday, then on Sunday I would have one for me. It worked out well until Chris lost his job, then we moved back here to Pensacola and we closed our account with them.

coasterqueen replied: Hmmmm, maybe I should sign back up. I used to have it but we hated it after awhile because we watched everything we wanted to and it became a waste of money. BUT to do the exercise videos....that might be worth it. thumb.gif

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Wow that's really cool. I never even would have thought to look for exercise videos there! I could have used that a few times - maybe I wouldn't have so many exercise tapes lying around that I never use. rolleyes.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: How does it REALLY work?

We've been thinking of getting an account with them... we have LOTS of time on our hands to sit on... literally... lol emlaugh.gif

5littleladies replied:
Well in our case we set up our online queue with whatever movies, t.v. shows, etc. that we want to see (my brother has 150+ in his queue tongue.gif ) and then netflix send them out to us-we can have 3 at a time but there are plans that let you have more or less. As soon as we are done with a dvd we send it back and they send us a new one-turnover for us is usually 3 days, out on Monday for example, back on Wed. We really like it! Especially during the winter months when there isn't so much to do. We use one of our selections for the girls (they pick what they want), one for a movie for us, and usually one with whatever t.v. series we are working our way through. I hope that answers your question-if not let me know. wink.gif

fashionmumofboys replied: I have never tried it either.

Sounds interesting. thumb.gif

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I use Blockbuster online because I can also get 2 free instore rentals a month but I love it. It is so nice just to pick the movies I want at home and not have to deal with bringing the kids into the video store. I also have a bunch of workout videos in my Queue including pregnancy yoga and pilates

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
Thanks Jen.

Is it expensive? We pay about 15$ a month on rentals right now.... which is about 3 or 4 movies. dry.gif

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: they are monthly fees to get 3 movies at a time it's $19.99 I am abot to downgrade because we don't watch them as fast during good TV seasons to do 1 movie at a time (still can get 2 a week) and that is $9.99

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Thanks.

I think I'm going to look them up - I might jsut sign us up and surprise DH.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Not available to Canadian residents... I should have known. rolleyes.gif
