Kaitlin'smom wrote: Thanks for everones help and support, I just hope I can get the words out, I have not spoken in public in a while, I used to be okay with it, coures now I am nervouse, but I will have note cards with it on it so I dont forget it, and hopefully get it right.....Would you all like to read it and tell me what you think?

amynicole21 replied: Yes, I'd love to hear it. You can "practice" on us tongue.gif

Dave & Denise

I want to wish you all the happiness and love that I have found in my marriage, remember that if you ever put your marital problems on the back burner they are sure to boil over, and remember happy marriages begin when we marry the one we love and they blossom when we love the one we married.
CONGRATULATIONS.

and then I intruduce the lifetime of memories video I did for them as part of there gift.

So what do you think....please be honest I can take it, suggestions welcome I want it to be good.

amynicole21 replied: Very nice!! I think that's perfect thumb.gif

DansMom replied: I think it's great! I would be very touched by that toast if I were the bride and groom. Say it out loud quite often---give the toast to your husband and such, so your mouth gets used to it. Some words are hard to say in a certain order even if they are easy to read on paper, stuff like that, so saying it out loud gives you a chance to rewrite if you find there is a place that your mouth always trips up or stumbles.

Kaitlin'smom replied: thanks everyone, I have said it alowed a few times I even called my voice mail and recorded it on there (I know I am silly) so I could hear it. I will probably say it a few more times.

wub.gif you all are the best thanks for the input and support wub.gif

kimberley replied: i think your speech is nice but if it was me, i wouldn't put in the bit about marital problems. it is good advice, but not something people want to think about on their wedding day. i hope you are not offended. jmo. the rest of it is very beautiful.

Kaitlin'smom replied:
no not offended...gives me something to think about....thanks

MylittlePaige replied: That sounds great to me. Maybe just reword what you said about the marital problems a bit so it sounds more positive bc it is a good point...I am drawing a blank on how to say it though. You will do great. Usually you get yourself more worked up over it prior to the event and then you surprise yourself by how calm and collected you are when you actually have to do it. When is the wedding? Have a great time!

coasterqueen replied: It's a beautiful toast, but I agree with the wording "marital problems", it almost sounds like it's dooming them before they go forward, kwim?

CONGRATULATIONS.

I wanted to try to come up with something, but I could only think of that last line or could say may your LOVE blossom forever and ever. Something like that.

Kaitlin'smom replied: thanks everyone and your right I am going to take out the marital problem, its good advice just not the place for it, see this is why I needed you all..... smile.gif So I am going to cut that part and try and find something else to add so its a little longer.

You are the best! wub.gif I love this place!

jen replied: I love it!!! I agree about the marital problems part too, but only after I read all the posts! I loved the original too! LOL! laugh.gif You will do great!!! cool.gif

A&A'smommy replied: Yeah I was the same as Jen! You will do great let us know what you decide to add to it! thumb.gif

CantWait replied: Great job!!!!!!!!
