I was almost in a wreck yesterday

I happened to look in my rearview mirror and saw this car coming straight towards the guy in the middle lane right next to me speeding very fast. I told my friend on the phone "Oh sh**, Oh sh** I think I'm going to get hit!" and I swerved my car over as far as I could in the lane. The guy right beside me was hit so hard he flew across the intersection and quite a ways up the road. The car that hit the guy was about ready to tip over - he was on two wheels! I've never seen anything like it but in the movies! Then the guy's car came down and he looked like maybe he was going to stop then floored it driving away. I yelled to my friend on the phone to write the license plate down and then the next thing I know police were chasing him. It was scary! Thank goodness I was able to get over far enough that I was not hit.

Here's the article on the front page of our newspaper this morning. I was "nearly the third one". Thank goodness I was "nearly".

At first when he was speeding towards the car right beside me it was fast, what was in slow motion was when he was on two wheels and I saw his car sliding towards mine - that's when I pulled over into what is sorta like a fire lane to get out of the way -- that was all in slow motion. It was very freaky!
