I will never let dh buy them clothes again
lisar wrote: Okay I sent dh out yesterday morning to go and pick up the girls a "few" outfits each. And I told him NO BOY CRAP for them. So he comes back with 3 outfits for each of them. Winter clothes which is what I wanted. And well each of them have a boy outfit. Raygen got this green camo outfit with helicopters on it. And this morning when I go to put one of the outfits on her it was a size 3T. She is 2 and a half and still wears 18month size clothes. She is small for her age. So 3T is HUGE on her. I called and yelled at him about. He said he just grabbed them and didnt look at the size. WHY NOT???? I will just never send him again. Lexi's were atleast right.
moped replied: I would NEVER send Tom to buy my kids clothes - Oh dear!!!!!
coasterqueen replied: Yeah, Ryan wouldn't let me send him. He'd look at me and laugh if I asked him to go. He knows he'd get it wrong and I'd complain about everything I bought. Although, if he really tried I think he could do a good job.
DillsMommy replied: I love shopping for kids/baby clothes WAY too much to let DH do it!
gr33n3y3z replied: whats wrong with boy clothes? lol I still wear them and thats all Katie will wear But he should have checked the sizes lol
Ed does great for shopping I could always trust him at least he made the kids try them on and he had to see what they looked like on them
My2Beauties replied: I must say as manly and roughneckish my husband acts he sure can pick out some cute girl clothes even for Desiree, she is older and picky, he can pick them out when we go shopping with her and she actually likes 90% of the stuff he picks out.
Cece00 replied: DH would never agree to go & pick up clothes for the kids, I am way too crazy about what they wear & how they look
kimberley replied: sorry he got the wrong stuff... mine woulda come home with boy clothes with skulls on it
My3LilMonkeys replied: My DH does a great job picking out the girl's clothes - not always so great on sizes, but he picks the cutest things.
stella6979 replied: Same with my Dh. He actually likes shopping for Avery.
luvmykids replied: I'm not sure how my DH would do, I always LOVE what he buys me but I think the kids are a different story. He could probably handle Colt but the girls, I'm not sure. My biggest complaint would probably be that he paid full price at the Gap or something I refuse to pay that kind of money for clothes that will be ruined or outgrown so quickly, unless it's a special event or holiday.
Calimama replied: At least he was willing right?
Brias3 replied: I'm kind of with Monica on that one- he'd do a good job I think (and has picked out cute things for Aliyah before), however he would not look at any price tags because I don't think men fully understand the concept that whatever you buy today will likely be outgrown in a few months!!
Bruce always does well when he brings clothing items home from travels, etc., and is even usually decent about sizes, but I still wouldn't trust him to do it ALL the time
Boo&BugsMom replied: Same here. I usually have to lay the kid's clothes out for him if I have to be gone, I can't imagine if I sent him shopping for stuff. YIKES!
Lesson learned Lisa!
holley79 replied: Shawn always looks at sizes or calls me. I'll let him buy clothes.
Kaitlin'smom replied: Well at least he tried????
My DH is pretty good at picking the stuff out but has to call on sizes. He does not seem to keep up with that part.
