I wrecked my car

I got into some ice which made me loose control of my car. Luckly the car didn't end up on its side or on its top. We ended up going into a bank backwards. The kids were not hurt and I was not so we didn't have make a trip to the hospital.
They did end up towing my car there really didn't seem to be much damage. Except for the front bumper being torn off and one of the back windows being shattered.
My husband is going go and look at it for sure to see how much damage was done.
Of course he was a complete a$$ when I called and told him I had wrecked. He told me I hope it taught you a lesson stay off the slick roads. I can't believe all he was worried about was me learning a lesson. He acts like that it couldn't happen to him.
All I have to say is someone must had been watching over us today!
mckayleesmom replied: Im sorry hun...hopefully it can be fixed cheap. And smack that husband of yours.
A&A'smommy replied: UGH you poor thing I'm so glad you girls okay though that must have been really scary!!!!! SHAME on your dh for being an butthole!!!
BTW Happy 16 month Meagan!!!
Again I'm glad you girls are okay!! ((((HUGS))))
Maddie&EthansMom replied: My husband is the same way! He would be worried about the car. Not that he wouldn't worry about us, but he would say it in a way like I wasn't protecting my children or something.
I'm glad you are all okay. I hope there wasn't too much damage.
Mandasmomma replied: At least you are all safe.....you can deal with your husband later!!
Sorry you had to experience that with the kiddos.
Mommy2BAK replied: I am so glad you and the girls are alright. And shame on your husband for being a jerk about it, he should just be thankful that you all are okay.
redchief replied: I'm so glad no one was hurt... Keep faith though, all guys are jerks about car damage... I think it's a testosterone thing.
Can't help myself...
Trying not to....
Awww, darnitall....
Jenn has a Dodge Dynasty she'll let go cheap!!!!
I really tried not to. I really did. Seriously though, I hope all comes together quickly on repairs and you get back on your wheels soon.
kimberley replied: glad you are okay and no one was hurt. most men really lack the ability to be nurturing . hope things get better for you
gr33n3y3z replied: I'm glad you are all ok The heck with the car
3xsthefun replied: Well he still gave me a hard time when he got home. He said there was no reason for me to be out. He acts like because I don't have a job outside the home that I can't go out. Grrr...
He said that he can fix my car for around $500 guess that is good. We just have piece it together until we can get some money for repairs. He doesn't want turn it into the insurance because the cost will go up.
Alice replied: I'm so glad you guys are all OK. It sounds like it could have gone either way.
About DH-- some people are like that. They don't mean to be, but in their concern, they always try to find a way the problem could have been prevented. I'm sure that underneath the nagging-- maybe wayyyyy down--- there's concern. But he owes you dinner out anyway. Or better yet, he owes you a day in his car; he can stay HOME WITH THE KIDS ALL DAY! I'm sure he won't mind a bit!!
I'm glad you and the kids weren't hurt.
iluvmysweetiepies replied: I'm glad everyone was okay!!
mom21kid2dogs replied: So glad you and the kids weren't hurt!! Losing control on ice is just the worst feeling in the world, isn't it? Hope the damage to your car is light and the damage that you do to your husband is painful
3xsthefun replied: Well he finally told me he was sorry for being such a meanie yesterday.
He is still debating if he wants turn the accident on your insurance or not. He said yesterday he would rather not. I will leave it up to him though I'd rather just go ahead and turn it in so we can get it fixed right away.
My neck, lower back, left arm and my left shoulder are sore today. I'm kinda suprised since I felt fine yesterday except for my head hurting a little and being scared.
The kids seem to be ok though which is good.
MommyToAshley replied: How scary! I am glad that you and the kids are ok!!!
I am glad your DH finally apologized to you, and I hope you get your car fixed soon.
Sending some GOOD LUCK vibes your way, sweetie!
