IS this a dumb idea???

mammag replied: Do you have any large decorative baskets at home. We have "saved the Easter Bunny some money" by leaving baskets I already had out for him to just fill. If you had one big enough you could put the back pack in it.

I think it is fine to not have a basket though. It's all a matter of how you present it to her.

kit_kats_mom replied: I like the backpack idea! If the basket is an issue though, I got a nice one which I incorporated into my home decor. This years baskets (one for each girl) are metal with flowers on them. Their new home will be in the playroom as toy pails.

mckayleesmom replied: Last year she had an easter wheel barrel...she loved it....She hasn't gotten a basket yet....but last year she wanted that wheel barrel so bad....and this year the basket will be pointless because I won't see it for a year....

5littleladies replied: I think the backpack idea is awesome! Mckaylee is so young yet that she isn't going to care about not having a basket-in fact she would probably love the backpack!

A&A'smommy replied: to tell you the truth we aren't really planning on getting Alyssa anything my parents are getting her a dvd and then maybe some snacks or some candy or something we will probably go ALL out next year but she is only 16 months old I don't think she will really care.

I think your idea will be REALLY helpful with your trip, it sounds like an AWESOME idea!!

I use to look for easter eggs plastic ones in my moms backyard. That was fun too!!!
And we always got a new outfit too.
