Ice Storm Pics....
MyLuvBugs wrote: Ok. We finally found the scan disk thing so here are some more pics. These are of my folks place a couple days before Christmas. They'd just had an ice storm the night before. It looks beautiful, but the trees in the town didn't fair too well.
Edited b/c I forget to add the picture. DOH!
Here it is:

Here is a pic of the whole town from the top of my parents place (it's small, don't blink you'll miss it. LOL )

Last one....it's an oak tree in my folks front yard.
DansMom replied: Oh, nice photos! That's what we're looking at here in Michigan too (not sure of your whereabouts). It has been painful to be without electricity for four days (finally the truck arrived today), but the scenery has been just breathtaking.
MyLuvBugs replied: Mom and Dad on in Central Nebraska. They've had 3 ice storms like this in the last month. Electricity is off and on. I talked to them yesterday and Mom say it was 17 below zero (-17) degrees when she went to work on Tuesday morning. UGH! I'm so glad we moved now. LOL But you're right....the ice is just gorgeous.....but the poor trees. My folks have lost a lot of the tops our of their pines and cedars.
Calimama replied: How gorgeous!!
MoonMama replied: How beautiful.
Cece00 replied: Pretty.
I'm wondering though...what do people do in the wintes when their power goes off?? How do you keep your whole house warm.
redplaydoh replied: Bad for the trees and everyone that has to deal with it, but it makes pretty photos! TFS!!
sparkys2boys replied: The pics are beautiful, to bad it had to get so bad for you guys down there.
JadensMama05 replied: I made Garred look at those pics to and I said "Oww look how pretty this is!" and he said "I'm sure there's some that don't think so." He's probably right! LOL. That is really gorgeous, though I'd be one to not think so if I were dealing with it. Stay warm!
redchief replied: I know how damaging ice storms can be, but they sure make beautiful pictures too.
3xsthefun replied: How pretty!
luvmykids replied: Kind of ironic that something so beautiful can be so bad. Gorgeous to look at though!
