My hubby is stuck on the name Emily for a girl. He has loved that name for so long now. It's funny how when your husband has a name stuck in his head... there's no changing it. Perhaps one day, you will have another boy, luvmykids, and have the opportunity to name him Shane. Hugs to you both.

Well, we've shut and locked that door, but maybe when I have grandkids I can be one of those annoying grandparents that "insists" on being involved in the name game! Or I could be like DH's grandma and just call the kids whatever I want b/c I don't like their names!

I like the name Shane...but I would never use it myself because I dated an awful guy named Shane. Total player! Dylan is nice too! I think the name works well with your last name.

Halo42101 replied: Thank you, Erika. I actually knew a creep named Shane who was a player too but then again I knew a baby named Shane who loved me and I loved him. I use to work with him in an a day care center when I volunteered there. That is how I thought of the name. I will always remember that sweet little baby. We will find out the sex of our baby sometime in April. Hopefully, on our 5th anniversary, which will be on the 21st.
