If you could change one thing that happens.. - everyday ... what would it be?
sparkys2boys wrote: Meaning is there anything that you know will happen everyday that will annoy you, be a power struggle etc. An example for me is that EVERYDAY I have to get angry with Logan to get ready for school in the morning. I know when I get up in the morning it will happen and would LOVE to elimante it out of our day. Another thing around here is bedtime with Cameron I KNOW again that he will call me back upstairs the second I hit the bottom to tell me something, ask for more juice, to say his belly hurts etc. Once again drives me nuts because I make two or three trips back upstairs to listen to him, then I get angry, he goes to sleep. Same thing.. evertime What happens at your house??
luvmykids replied: Oh gosh, I can only pick one?
I guess the big one would be the final minutes before we leave for school, it seems like no matter how well I plan or how much I do ahead, SOMETHING always happens that makes us late
If I could pick two, it would be having someone to feed the horses for me...we used to have an employee who was too old to really do construction but DH felt bad for him, so he had him just work around the house and feed the horses, mow the grass, etc........I got really spoiled back then
A&A'smommy replied: hmmm well I think the first thing would be that dh comes in and immediatly goes to his XBOX to play guitar hero which is his stress reliever
PrairieMom replied: I am SOOO sick of hearing about Mario. Ben talks about him like he is a real person. He is constantly asking when he can play, how long can he play... what level he will go to when he plays. Its seriously driving me nuts.
Calimama replied: Miabella dumps her cereal out on her tray every morning. Of course half of it lands on the floor.
My3LilMonkeys replied: The outraged surprise over the fact that it's bedtime "already?" Seriously, we follow the same routine EVERY NIGHT, how could they not have figured out by now that right after time to pick up comes time for bed?
DillsMommy replied: the whining, crying, nonsense that goes on EVERY morning just to get Dylan to eat his breakfast. If I never have to say the words "dylan eat" again, I will be overjoyed.
MoonMama replied: My bathroom wouldn't be a total mess each morning after DH has been in it.
:.Mrs_Mommy.: replied: Everytime we are getting ready to go somewhere I have all the kids ready and we all have coats on and DH is still on the computer playing his game. We have to walk out the door for him to get his shoes and coat on. If I could eliminate that I would be a happy woman.
lovemy2 replied: I wouldn't have to go to work That counts right
luvbug00 replied: If i could get mya to shower at night without having to go threw the whining and attempted negotiations (on her part) which i never give in to. but it takes 40 mins for her to just explain the deal she is attempting to make
lisar replied: I have to go to work. I would love to change that....
Bamamom replied: I would change Tripp's desire to bug his sister. I swear she finally gets happy with a toy and is playing contently and he comes out of no where and tackles her or pulls her over or takes her toy. Then she's crying - again. And mommy time is gone. And they are still so little - this is only going to get worse I know!
BAC'sMom replied: For my kids not to fight
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: My thoughts exactly! Only one?
Well I guess it's the fact that as many times I ask my DH to help me pickup the house, get the kids ready for the day, etc...He only does it for about a week and then he gets back into his routine of forgetting. He works hard, so I don't expect a lot. But I cook dinner every night and it stinks to wake up in the morning to still find the dirty dishes all over the kitchen, the dishes he promised he would wash. And then I am left to do them with all the other things I have to do that day. Same goes for getting the kids ready. He is good about feeding them breakfast, but it stops there. It can be 5 min before Wil has to school, I'm rushing around doing other things, and DH doesn't think that maybe Wil needs to get dressed!! Drives me nuts. Why do they say "well if you don't ask me, I just don't think to do it." Wish I could say the same about my own life.......
luvmykids replied: NO KIDDING I would love to get away with that for just a day
austins mom replied: fighting with austin about his homework.
:.Mrs_Mommy.: replied: You and me both sister!! I would love to be able to say "I'm sorry I didn't feed the dog, clean up after the dog, make supper, do laundry, I forgot baby. I will do it next time." And get away with it!!
Men!
AlexsPajamaMama replied: omg I am sooo happy my husband isnt the only one who goes right for the video games first thing!! That would be the one thing I would change too!!
Boo&BugsMom replied: "Tanner go get your coat on"...2 minutes later..."Tanner what are you suppose to be doing?"...5 minutes later..."HELLO??? GO GET YOUR COAT ON!!".
This is just one instance where his famous selective hearing kicks in. And no, he doesn't have a hearing problem, which I thought for awhile he did because Troy is actually part deaf in one ear...but alas, he is not so he has no excuse.
As you can see, I am SO tired of repeating myself over, and over, and over, and over, and over....*sigh*...he's lucky I love him.
