Are you hoping for another boy? Or a girl? Or just happy to be pregnant?
I'm also 22, I have 2 kids, one of each, and I'm expecting my 3rd in October sometime!
Welcome!
cowgirl replied: congrats! I'm just 1 month pregnant with my first child as well!
MommyToAshley replied: Welcome!
Congrats on your PG!!!! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months!
Have you tried to explain it to your boys yet... do you think they understand?
daddy2three replied: Congrats!
iluvmysweetiepies replied: Hi and Welcome!!
Congratulations!!
uwishucudfly replied: Zach's Mom......I am really hoping for a girl, because I already have two boys, but as long as the baby is healthy I really don't mind what the sex is. My husband would LOVE another boy. I guess it would make him feel as if he were creating his own little football team. But we are both just so excited to be pregnant!
MommyToAshley.....I haven't yet told my son's that I am pregnant. Devin would probably understand, but Brandon would not. Devin will be three in August, and I am sure that he is going to have a lot of questions once I start to show. I also haven't told my family members yet, because I just want to make sure everything goes smoothly in the first three months.
Cowgirl....Congratulations on your first child!!!! Are you nervous? What do you hope that gender is?
Thank you all!
Sam
MomToMany replied: Wow, you must've known the instant you conceived! Most women don't find out until they are 4 weeks at the earliest! Do you know how a monthly cycle works?
uwishucudfly replied: I had always done the Billings and Syptomthermal method, and we had been trying for a while to get pregnant, and the brand of pregnancy test that I used is called AimStick, and it can test for an egg that is as early as 9 days fertilized.
MomToMany replied:
Whatever........still doesn't make sense to me. SOOO, you haven't even missed your period yet??
cowgirl replied: hi everyone and thanks. Yes I am a little nervous. No I dont have a preference for a boy or girl just aslong as the baby is healthy than i'll be happy. take care everyone
TLCDad replied: Mollie, it does make since. If you look it up, this particular test does state it can actually detect a pregnancy even before your period starts. I believe it mentions something like 6-8 days after conception. Wow how technology keeps advancing.
uwishucudfly replied: No, I haven't missed my period yet, I'm actually due for it in about 2 days....I'll let you know if I get it. I've been trying for five months to get pregnant, and I didn't need to miss my period to know that I was pregnant. When it is that important to you, believe me....the smallest change in your temperature makes you think you are pregnant. My temperature is usually between 97.4 and 98.2, but when it went to 99.1, I ran out and got the test. You've got kids, didn't you ever just get that feeling?
Sam
MomToMany replied: Nope, can't say that I have. All my kids were surprises though, so I was never actually trying to get PG.
*Ashleigh* replied: Hi and congratulations on your pregnancy! I also have 2 boys (mine are 3 1/2 and 16 months old) and am pg with #3, this one is a girl I was the same as you - my fiance wanted another boy but I wanted a girl Now we got our girl and are so excited, we only have 6 1/2 weeks to go! CONGRATS again
