I'm The Only One On My Block

We usually put ours up after Thanksgiving........... and our HOA won't let us put them up before 30 days before Chiristmas.

mummy2girls replied: Im gulity too. I dont put up outside lights but i am putting up the christmas tree. Jenna is in bed so i thought i would start to deocrate so she will get a nice surprise when she wakes up.

ctymom replied: I dont decorate for Christmas until December. I put the tree up 2-3 weeks before then. To me, putting it so early takes away something from it.

Unfortunately, I can't put up lights outside because we dont have an eletrical outlet outside. I want lights and deer in my frontyard! lol

We usually decorate right after Thanksgiving too. We're pretty good about getting the decorations up, it's taking them down on time that we have a problem wiht.

Xmas always sneaks up on me in FL. It just doesn't feel like it's here yet...

coasterqueen replied: LOL! I was thinking about this the other night when I saw that a house had their Christmas tree up and lights. Isn't it a bit early? We wait til the day after USA Thanksgiving....and most people think that's too early around us. I love Christmas too though .

Like some of the others have said, we get laughed at in the Us for putting our tree up right after thanksgiving!! LOL

But good for you! I love christmas and would celebrate it all winter if I could! that would sure help me with the post christmas winter blues!
