I'm gonna loose it.
PrairieMom wrote: I have been looking for bedding for Al, and it is driving me totally insane. How can it be possible that in the entire internet I can't find one single bedding set that I like? really, how hard could it possibly be to find pink flower bedding for a 2 year old? AUGH!!!!!! I am officially annoyed.
coasterqueen replied: I know exactly what you mean. That's why I ended up going with a more neutral bedding set for Kylie's room just a few weeks ago. I needed a set that has pink and/or purple flowers on it and wasn't feeling anything I found online or in the stores, so I just bought a plain purple/pink bedspread and I'm going to jazz up the other areas of her room to make up for it.
Very frustrating!!!
Now I'm on a hunt for a certain bedding set for Megan and of course can't find it either.
PrairieMom replied: $450 for a duvet cover. A DUVET COVER!!!
Celestrina replied: What!?! I work at a store like Bed, Bath, and Beyond and none of the comforters (much less the duvets) we carry cost that much.
PrairieMom replied: I think I knd of like this, but I don't know how well it will go with her room, and its kind of grown up. http://cdn.overstock.com/images/products/L10195408.jpg
coasterqueen replied: I LOVE that one.
MommyToAshley replied: What about: http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/w2...eric&cm_ite=N/A
or

or

I know what it is like to have a visual image in your head of what you want but then not be able to find anything like it.
PrairieMom replied: Do you think it would go with this room?
Our Lil' Family replied: The last one DeeDee posted from the company store would look great in Al's room!!
PrairieMom replied: I saw those, the daisy one is close to what I was thinking, but its so much $.
I have been looking at these too... http://zoom.jcpenney.com/is-viewers/dynapi...ver.gif?500x500

PrairieMom replied: I agree that the company store one would match pretty well, I wonder how much $ Dh will let me part with.
Our Lil' Family replied: The links from JCPenney's don't work.
She needs a twin? Just get the quilt and a sham....the rest you can go with solid colors. It is alot but she could use that for a LONG time!
PrairieMom replied: Here. thats better. LOL. She is going to need a full. All I want is the quilt and bed skirt, the rest I will just get plain sheets and I already have white curtains. I am just way to cheap for this.

luvmykids replied: I can't ever find what I want either, and on top of that have to find two that sort of look good together since the girls share a room
I love the one from the company store!
Of the two from JCP, I like the second one better.
stella6979 replied: Ooooo, I really like the first one you posted from JcPenny. It's very colorful.
lovemy2 replied: I like all of them except the first one from JC Penney's - its nice but not for Al's room IMO - all the rest I think would work really well - have fun - I hate doing that stuff - it the parting with the money for me too - I have yet to tackly my bedroom and we moved three years ago - but in my defense I want a king size bed first and then I will probably wait another 3 years since king sized bedding is even MORE expensive than queen....
mckayleesmom replied: Hey Tara....Have you thought about looking for stripes instead of flowers?.....I think stripes would go cute with that border.
PrairieMom replied: I have kinda tried just looking at anything. I can't find much that I like. I have expensive taste, and am thrift store cheap. I have acutally found some polka dot stuff that isn't to bad. I need it by mid may, so I feel a bit crunched for time. I think i will run to Target and shopko and gordmans tomorrow to see if I have any luck finding stuff IRL.
mckayleesmom replied: Here are some examples....I tried to find the closest in color to her flowers on her walls...

Also...I didn't check the prices on these....just using them as an example...
PrairieMom replied: Super cute! I LOVE pink and green together. (the quilt is $350. ) See What I mean? expensive taste.
mckayleesmom replied: OMG...I noticed the prices after I went back to look for something for Mckaylee........Dh let her pick her own bedding out a couple months ago and she came home with Disney Princess's... Her room looks like it threw up pink and princess's.....Im letting her get away with it for now.....But the control freak in me is getting antsy for a change.
AlexsPajamaMama replied: I love the second one! Id pick something she would be okay to use for along time.
We are getting Alex a twin bed soon, he got spider man sheets for his birthday already...and I got a buzz lightyear comforter for $5 at goodwill...so doesnt match but he loves them and ugh whatever he will grow out of it eventually
~Roo'sMama~ replied: I LOVE the second one! I think it would look very nice in her room.
I know what you mean about prices- I love pottery barn and those types of places but could never afford it. I couldn't even afford the ones at JC Penny right now.
