I'm new - I'm new

I'm new to the bored my husband thought it would be fun for me to join a board while I'm pregnant. My name is Aly and I'm 20 my this is my first pregnancy I am now entering week 6 of my pregnancy I am excited but a bit nervous too. We also have a 5 year old (from my husbands first marriage) who we have sole custody of. But I just wanted to say Hi to everyone.

Thank you so much for the welcome . I noticed you have older kids, any ideas on how to make sure Gracie feels she is a part of the pregnancy and does not feel left out? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks again

ctymom replied: My boys are 13 and 15 (my youngest in my signature passed away).... but as for my older kids, I pretty much showed them ultrasound pictures online of what the baby looks like and what is developing. There is an ultrasound video online that shows the baby month by month but I cant think of where it is. I'll try to remember and post it. It tells you what's going on and what the baby looks like. I would drag my kids and hubby in every month and show them. lol

So they felt part of the whole process.

Thank so much for tips, info, site and the help on making Gracie a part of the pregnancy it really means a lot to both Tyler and I. She is already acting out and telling everyone I'M THE BABY!!!!! so this should be fun and interesting. Tyler and I have been married since I was 18 but we grew up together so for the longest time she was "the baby" my baby his baby you name it. So I have a feeling this is going to be fairly hard on her but I think in do time she will come around.

Also I just wanted to let you know how adorable Tyler and I think everybody's little ones are. Take care I'll post again soon.
